Because it’s as basic as they come, took a designer God knows how long to come up with that?

As others have said a few pages back, there's loads of detailing in the Beerschot and Chateroux shirts so the likelihood of ours being that plain is quite slim.
I'm hoping that the leaked shirts are showing design/style only and are not the finished articles.

Can't have been. In recent memory we've played in the new kit on the last day of the previous season and it's been available on the open day (though I can't remember when we last had one of them). Every shirt I can remember has been available before the first game though. 54 hours to go and we don't have a picture of our new kit.

I just hope we don't have a collar like Livingston have got.

Last game of the PL v Wigan we wore what is probably a proper rarity.

One of the reporters mentioned the takeover* had an affect on the shirts being released too.

Beerschot and Chateroux have both moved over to Errea but neither were in the process of being bought out so their shirts may have been sorted months ago.


*I interpret that as the potential buyer didn't want to move to Errea and be tied to this United World stuff, and why would they?

Yeah, all that stuff annoys me n all. A grime track and flickering images (never any epilepsy warnings) don't sell a kit to me. I'm either buying it or I'm not. I don't get why we need an advertising campaign for a closed market.

It's a poor idea releasing it on the same day we play, as it will just get lost in the match day buildup / reaction. They should have released it today really, or at least done the unveiling.

The whole thing has been dreadfully managed.
I'm not somebody that particularly cares, but this thread shows that a lot do and given we're their customers and target market that should tell them everything. Piss poor.

Or we could do a reverse strippers club thing where a fancy bit comes out onto the stage in the executive club fully naked and with the 70s stripper music playing, she teases the punters who are all wide eyed and desperate to see the the uncovering as she teases and seductively adds the new SUFC home kit a bit at a time getting it from a duffel bag on the stage. The cheers and hollering will reach a crescendo as she sits on the knees of a grinning inanely 'Hecky' and slips on the final bit of kit which will be the new shirt. We could hire the Dog n Partridge out darn the Cliffe for a Sunday lunch time reverse strip tease show as we unveil the away kit.

Hemmingham has said the players kits are available for Monday. They have to release it, because we'll see them in it by 8pm Monday night.

Sadly I think its the latter.

I called the white kit a fortnight back. I'll stick with that prediction. If they're revealing it tomorrow or Monday, that's because it's arrived today. Could argue 'yeah it's here' but it's not great is it? Still no picture or explanation from the club. Tells me even they can't twist it in anyones favour. Even admitting there are delays would suit me.

"Sorry to all supporters. There are unforseen delays in getting the kit into the shop. However, here's what it looks like" - not even that.

Think this is almost spot on.

Except I think we'll reveal a very bland and boring kit and everybody will get angry. We'll put in a disjointed performamce and be 3-0 down at half time before Hecky gives a mega team talk telling the team to trust each other and unite under the REAL new kit, he sends us out in the best kit we've ever seen and we suddenly statt playing better and win 4-3!!
