They’ve been trying to agree one for weeks. I think it’s safe to say if he comes without it then it couldn’t be done by us. Clearly also not by anyone else either.
I reckon it's Khadra who's playing hard ball.
My guess is Seaguls have offered a contract! He won't sign it as he wants to be a free agent next year.
I maybe be miles out but seems logical to me.
We had similar problem with Ndiah.
He wanted the chance to play and got his chance under the Serb ! Rest is plain to see

Finlay spot on. Hes got one year left on his contract. If he comes here and does well he walks for free and gets a massive signing on fee somewhere. Even if hes average he still gets a big signing on fee somewhere else.

Brighton are trying to protect 'their asset' and his agent will be telling him not to sign a new contract unless it's of a size Brighton probably aarent willing to sanction.

Brighton's only leverage is to let him rot in the reserves but that benefits nobody. It will be worked out but could go right to the wire before someone 'blinks first'.

…..and he wants to come to us, perm or loan.
If he wasn’t then there would be nothing to discuss with Brighton and it would have always just been a loan.

I think you both have got it spot on. If we dont sign him, no doubt the bedwetters will blame SUFC and ignore the reasons behind the collapse of the deal

That name… that damn name.

Gerrim signed (disclaimer: I know nothing about him other than his name).
lots of man united fans raving about him after pre-season. he was little known before pre-season but done very well. Ten Hag has been publicly praising him and how impressive he's been.

No chance this happens, if it does then i'm gunna kiss a frog

Balls - the dream of buying the new shirt with “Hannibal” on the back dies after just 5 mins. I’ll get back to dreaming of being able to buy the new shirt at all.

Macron?

Might not be an alternative as we are reportedly after two number tens it could be Khadra and Mejbri

Juanpi. Just saying.

“Juanpi switched from 28 to number 10 shirt ahead of the 2016–17 campaign,[8] and scored the Andalusians' first goal of the competition, in a 1–1 home draw against CA Osasuna.[9]

'The year is 2027 and Sheffield United manager Billy Sharp brings a 33 year old Juanpi to the League 1 club'

"The Prince is finally home", said Sharp

Happy with a 12 month loan.

It's like an extended job interview.

He might be brilliant (MGW) or terrible (Ben Woodburn).

Let's have a look at him and see if he's any good or not before galloping into signing him (Ebbrell, Salmon, Higdon, McBurnie).
Bit harsh on Ebbrell that.

Suffering a career ending injury in his first outing is hardly his fault, nor does it make him a poor signing, just an unlucky one.

Yeah, I’m not the moral police or anything. But, you’re obviously not in a good place.

Get a grip. It was a flippant remark following a joke from another poster about having two women round.

It wasn't talking about rape. Which he was acquitted of anyway.
