The most controversial similar incident I can remember is when Kasper Schmeichel got sent off (second yellow) for not giving the ball back... it was the same referee!

And what about when he accidentally gave Ched a red card before realising his mistake and showing him a yellow?!

On that showing, I fully expect Mr Moss to be running the line at best in my game Saturday in North East Norfolk Division 2, possibly the most incompetent and inconsistent referee I have ever laid eyes on. How much do these people get paid? I might give the FA a buzz and have a go myself next weekend, the man's stealing a wage.

Just seeing the incident at about 1.48 in the BBC highlights says everything about the performance of the officials on Saturday. Doyle completely wiped out with the linesman looking DIRECTLY at it when going to close the winger down, nothing given and they hit the post.

Kuqi's stamp on Cresswell wasn't that bad, but again unnoticed by the official standing right next to it.

Not sure about that. I actually thought it was Trevor Kettle he was so bad.
