Heard a comment about consecutive appearances during a live game the other day. This got me thinking - which Blades player has made the most consecutive first-team appearances?
Don't know the answer - just throwing the question out there. In my time supporting the Blades I'd have to list Woody, Hodgy & Jags as possible contenders?
I'm sure there's a trivia mastermind out there who knows the answer!

It's Jack Smith - 213 (I think) sonsecutive league appearance either side of WWII.

Jags was ever present in league games for his last 3 seasons and also played the last 3 of the 03-04 season, giving him a total of 133 consecutive appearances, which in this day and age of multiple subs and chopping and changing of squads is pretty amazing.

Have you got a list of the ever-presents over each season Darren? It would be interesting to see.

Was it Neil collins who made his debut in the derby when to try and akinbiyi scored at chez la rust ?

He played every single minute of the Premiership season, did he for all 133 of those games? If so, it is pretty impressive!
