Did you discover the internet yesterday?Well said. Horrible childish comments
"Looks like he's been set on fire and put out with a shovel" is my most favourite put down.He looks like an explosion in an ugly factory.
But to be fair, he’s a cracking coach.
Clearly good at his trade.
Clearly very unfortunate looking.
It is possible to state both.
Let’s face it, if it was a toss up between Slav and Cooper. We’d have all wanted it to be Slav. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.I like Cooper. Spoke well after the game, sets his team up well. Out did us in every area of the pitch.
Wilder may have recommended him, but Forest paid a hefty fee to Swansea to get him, and we're a skint club the doesn't spend money/Wilder took it all. That's right isn't it?
I like that he hasn't tried to 'fix' if you will the things people get at him for. As been said on here with the money he's making he could have changed himself (tbh I think that always looks worse anyway) he'll be aware of what people say about him and while I'm sure it gets to him at times, how could it not. He doesn't seem overly interested in it.He's a very good coach and seems to be becoming a very good manager.
As an ugly cunt I take umbridge on his behalf. Us uglies have to work so much harder for success.

Given Wilder’s relationship with the prince, that’s probably why he wasn’t considered!Wilder apparently recommended him as his replacement !
Inbox me.I'm a real handsome bastard if anyone's interested.
Wasn’t Cooper out of work when Forest appointed him?
Pretty sure he left Swansea last summer and took over from Houghton several games into this season.
Day before.Did you discover the internet yesterday?
Maybe so, I'm just saying that he has inherited a very good squad at forest, he left Swansea as he knew that their money had ran out and he was set for a rebuild at Swansea, a challenge he neshed. He may be a good manager but it's still early days and I would like to see how he does at a club with less resources.Wilder apparently recommended him as his replacement !
Pre-season, a Swansea friend was cock-a-hoop that he didn’t have to watch “Cooperball” this year. I don’t know what happened there but Forest have certainly gained from it.Wasn’t Cooper out of work when Forest appointed him?

I have a good friend who is a Swans fan and he said the same about Cooper.Pre-season, a Swansea friend was cock-a-hoop that he didn’t have to watch “Cooperball” this year. I don’t know what happened there but Forest have certainly gained from it.
Couldn’t disagree more that it was ever a good appointment, it was blatantly obvious it was to appease fans because he’s a bit of ‘a name’ in the Championship with huge wages. Our squad of players and the Watford, Fulham squads he worked with are worlds apart, it was not a good fit. Cooper on the other hand has proven he can turn around a losing mentality, and with limited resources (Swansea barely spent and he’s been clever in the loan market with Forest).Slav was out of contract in Qatar, and at the time a bloody good appointment. Cooper had 3 years on his Swansea contract and seem to remember 3/4 million compo package being talked about.
A lot would have seen Cooper as an underwhelming appointment. 1 year in management, and England youth coach.
