I meant Cooper is ugly, not their play as I said he has taken them from bottom of the league to the playoffsUgly? I think they play really positively and they attack unbelievably quickly.
Fucking hate Forest but give them their due, they play skilful, direct football
He takes Swansea to two play offs including a final then takes Forest from bottom of the league after 6/7 games to push the top two only losing one game at home this year … to liverpoolThey played well today, I'll give them that. But Steve Cooper a great manager?! Not so sure on that, or that he's done us over either. His team played better than ours, they've got a fit striker banging in goals for fun and Johnson is arguably the best player in the league, I'd expect forest to be up there looking at their team.
They stook 8/9 men behind the ball and they have more pace than we do to hurt us on the break. We did break on them but they fouled us on the most promising occasion. Had that game gone on for a few more minutes I'm sure we could have had another chance. I don't think we should think it's over, If anything we should be delighted we're in it and if I was a forest fan I'd be worried if they don't score early that we'll come back at them as we've got nothing to lose which is dangerous for forest if we're still in it in the second half. One goal and it's level, and we can equally frustrate them and hit them with MGW or Ndiaye for example.
Back to cooper, he had a very good team also at Swansea and never got them up and then left when he knew that the Swansea squad wasn't going to be as strong for this season.
We went all out for Slav who was the expensive option at the time to try to appease fans. It was was well within our capabilities to land Cooper and undoubtedly it would’ve been the far better option as was recommended at the time.I like Cooper. Spoke well after the game, sets his team up well. Out did us in every area of the pitch.
Wilder may have recommended him, but Forest paid a hefty fee to Swansea to get him, and we're a skint club the doesn't spend money/Wilder took it all. That's right isn't it?

It is absolutely. I just think it's a bit harsh on him.Clearly good at his trade.
Clearly very unfortunate looking.
It is possible to state both.
Hey, it's just as harsh when I try and speak to a lass and she tells me to piss off cos I'm an ugly cunt too. Harsh worldIt is absolutely. I just think it's a bit harsh on him.
Same thing would have applied with Cooper like it did with Slav, no money to bring in his players, that's why Hecky was the boards choice he was told to work with what you've got.We went all out for Slav who was the expensive option at the time to try to appease fans. Believe me, I know that feelingHey, it's just as harsh when I try and speak to a lass and she tells me to piss off cos I'm an ugly cunt too. Harsh world
I wish I could find something but I can't he's simply just a good manager, can't fault him so far. We're going to have to pull something pretty amazing out the bag Tuesday and sadly I'm not so confident.
What a fucking scene it would be though if the lads manage it. My god.
Spot on.Its disgusting some our fans resort to making fun of his appearance. Its Like being back in the school playground. He's a better manager than hecky and the majority In the championship, his appearance is completely irrelevant.
Why? He is a good manager. How is that harsh? It is absolutely. I just think it's a bit harsh on him.
Some reyt fun sponges aboutFucking hell, some of you lot would be fun on a day out..
Well said, completely agree. Can't believe I even need to say this but you don't choose your looks do you. By all means not like the guy for his personality, methods or views, but let's slag him off because he's not on the cover of tan and toned weekly.Unnecessary, classless and cruel to poke fun at how the bloke looks. He's an excellent manager, and has worked miracles at Forest, fair play to him.
Can't see us overturning a 1-2 deficit on Tuesday, and assuming we don't, I hope they go up. He also comes across as a genuinely likeable bloke.

Wilder apparently recommended him as his replacement !“Happy to get back on the bus with a positive deficit”
