Playoff tickets, First Leg

I've already sent an enquiry via the web site, but will email them as well.

Forest had both tiers in 02/03. Top tier used to be the default with the bottom tier offered if there was going to be a decent sized away following. Think it wasn’t until late 00s that we started restricting away support to the lower tier.

The Westfield corner opened for the 2006/7 season and had a knock on effect. We had to move away fans to the lower tier, as they were never going to be in the corner as it's way too close to gangway H of the SS, so if they remained in the upper tier as they did pre-2006 the corner would have to be closed which would've made building it pointless.

I've made a point elsewhere that the inability to segregate the upper tier (and the lower tier, to a lesser extent) even though it can be sealed off inside is ultimately the cause of all this. It makes no sense that very large and very intense derby matches in other cities manage to separate fans with minimal capacity lost and often 'sharing' stands.

Have they extended the deadline for season tickets to buy their seats then? Trying to buy online now and getting message "this event is no longer available" Gulp!

Thanks what's to stop someone sharing the screenshot and someone else getting in with it?
Nothing but who's got access to it? Whoever bought the ticket, (presumably someone you trust) and yourself.

Don’t know yet!
The likelihood is that we will be getting the same allocation as for the league match, namely 1,980.

On the day after Forest were confirmed to be in the play-offs (ie last Wednesday), their club told their season ticket holders that sales were open immediately and that they could buy their play-off ticket which be loaded on to their season ticket cards in the usual way - just like for a cup match.

Forest did this immediately before even knowing which day they would be playing their home leg, or who they would be playing. Appears that they have handled it rather better than us.

The fact that season ticket holders have been able to buy their own seats would tend to suggest that the arrangements at the City Ground will be precisely as they have been all season for league matches.

Same owd same owd from United, never ever get it fully right. Its either tickets too dear, not enough turnstiles open or now this load of bollox. I've got my ticket but if it wasn't for my lad I wouldn't have a clue (not very good with technology). Now I've got a piece of paper with squiggly lines on it how the fuck. Surely just activate the season card for fuck sake then 20 odd thousand would be happy and give Nottinghamshires MASSIVE the shit seats in bllt which is what they deserve, also charge em what they will charge us.

So we bend over and give them 3200 and then move our loyal season ticket holders! You couldn’t make it up.

Is it in the T's & C's for BLUT season ticket holders that they may have to surrender their seat on occasions its needed for opposition fans?

It’s in the T&C’s of the season ticket, that the seat is not guaranteed for cup games(clause 2.11). Not sure what anyone is complaining about really.

Think you had until 12.30 on Saturday to renew
