Indeed. If Durham dibbles are that worried that Forest fans will invade the pitch then just net off the front however many rows that reduce their allocation to 2k, then lay landmines on row A. Sure, they wouldn't cause the sort of improvements to the stand if one went off there as opposed to the Kop, but it'd solve the ticketing issue
 

It's hilarious how many people on here are getting angry about something they have no idea the details of.

Whatever the reason for the change, in the grand scheme of things it's simply not a big deal. We're in the playoffs, enjoy it. Look after your blood pressure. Until Satuday at least...

Why shouldn't people get annoyed ?

Forest being in the lower section means segregation is automatically taken care of

Forest being in the upper section means the corner is closed,

Reducing capacity, and reducing OUR support for OUR home game
 
Whoever made this decision needs to be tricked into contravening Article 73 of the UN Security Council resolution so that they incur the wrath of the world's major military powers.

I may be wrong but looking on the ticket sales so far for season ticket holders, once again it won't be full.
 

At least we know the excuse from some fans if we lose on Saturday..
 
No queue to get on the ticketing website now. Plenty on tickets left and plenty of seats together including in reasonably large groups ( 4 +)

I would be surprised if people don't go to the game purely because they can't sit in 'their' seat especially when, currently, you can, still select fans together with friends and family

Family Stand season ticket holders will not fancy taking kids to sit on kop or South stand.
The principle of the thing is all wrong.
We have built up a sizeable season ticket no.
This doasnt help us keep them expecially if we don't win promotion.
Very disappointing in my view.

There are still multiple seats available on the Family Stand.

It was sold out on Saturday, no more tickets were sold, even though the attendance was 1500 below capacity

The Forest game will have no more than 26,000 after they've netted off huge sections of home seats

There are plenty left in John Street anyway but, for one game a family with kids can't adapt to a different stand ? Really ?

What is a 'disgrace' . £20 a ticket for adults? What is the betrayal? It will only weaken our chances if some of our fans sulk and dont buy a ticket for the biggest game if the season at the joint cheapest prices of the season

Strengthening Forest's support (numbers + noise) and reducing our own for no reason at all - in a huge game at what might be our last chance at promotion for years. But as if anyone who works down there understands any of that

if its a response to them running on the pitch that's even more stupid..... how about stewarding them a little bit better?! But no..... reward them instead... 🤡

Forest's numbers will be increased by around 400. We have to lower tier so we have fans behind both goals. Why has this decision been made ? We can only guess but there are still over 23,000 tickets for home fans with plenty available in all stands including large groups. Fans just need to buy a ticket and get to the game.

23000 can't make more noise,and drown out, the 3,100 ? That would be poor by the fans ,not the club

As for the stewarding, it is outsourced. Better stewarding? Minimum wage for being abused all game( verbally and sometimes physically) means I cant foresee a 'better' class of employee for that job

Noise?

There's 3000 of them and 25k of us. If we can't make more noise than them it's fuck all to do with them having the BLUT.

Tell ya summat else, you wouldn't tackle a fan running on the pitch either. That's not a stewards job.

As for other comments about family standers not wanting to go on the kop or south... Good grief. The South is hardly G&H block from 2000 is it? And the kop is all standing on the back 6-10 rows. Down from that is as you were.

Are you suggesting some of our fans are that bad and picky?
