Words can't explain how much i am looking forward to this one. Top of the table clash with two teams playing good football and us in form. I haven't felt as good about the blades since the final couple of weeks of 2006.

To top it all off there'll be plenty of London blades about and some old faces returning from distant shores.

Please, please, please Sheffield United, give me a win? :)

Anyone know how the tickets are selling? If we can take 4000 to Bury, surely we can sell out the Charlton away end as well for a fixture of this magnitude?

I hope we come away with something, feeling very positive with how we have played the last couple of games. Think this will be a real test as they are in form too, hope it was worth the 25 mins on hold to get tickets earlier.

HB,Seeing as WB will not put me up for the Olympics, I dont suppose you've room for three at the weekend?

Chez Highbury is a full house this weekend i'm afraid boo, already got a couple of guests staying over, otherwise i'd be happy to oblige.

Apparently it was close at 12 today. She said the only tickets left were right at the front. Be good to see myself on the highlights when Ched scores.

3000 blades should easily out sing the charlton supporters. Remember the 1-1 draw in 2007? They had to give all the kids free rattlers to generate any sort of atmosphere.

Yeah it was a good day that in 2007. The sun was shining and it looked like we were going to stay up when Stead equalised. How wrong we were.

I didn't go unfortunately. I'm hoping for a similar atmosphere to Bury which was easily the best away day I've had this year. The only thing that came close was the Santa conga at Bournemouth.

1000 left according to the OS earlier.

I won't be there, flights just too pricey for a morning in, out by 8pm :(

I'd take another 5-2 atmosphere, but a bit warmer!

I expect it might be a little tighter this time though.

Coldest i've ever been at a footie match that night, but i did only have a thin coat on. Plenty of bovril was drank!

Yep, I'm looking forward to this one too. I just hope I don't "peak too early" having booked train tickets that have me arriving in London for just after 10am!

At 4pm today we'd sold more than 2000 and have 1000 left although I'd imagine these will sell out bearing in mind the run we're on.

UTB!

Ordered mine on line on Saturday evening, first time I've used the website so hope it turns up. Always enjoy trips to the Valley, I hope this is as good as the last 2!

well the twofoot family will be there mister twofoot mrs twofoot and jesus collage oxford twofoot.

According to the website, we've sold out now. Gutted, was waiting for Mrs Balham to decide whether to come. Will have to chance it with the ticket office in the morning.

Have you read that right? Doesn't it say over 2,000 are gone and the last 1,000 are selling fast?

not sold out , sold the first 2k another 1k now on sale going fast ,get to ticket office tommorow you will get one

Im looking forward to the game and kicking the shit out of my liver afterwards.

Looking forward to Sat-di also. I am nervous and excited. Have to say that my gut feeling is telling me we'll not take anything from the game. That said, I've seen enough of United to know that we'll cause them problems. 10 wins out of 11, 7 goals to no response in the last 2 matches and averaging just under 3 goals a game since the Bradford game. Confidence is high and we're on fire. Tearing most teams to shreds. But Charlton are the best team in the division (or so the league table says) and are unbeaten at home. They will be confident after a fantastic result last week. Plus the pressure is off as they can lose and still be top.

Nice to see that 2k tickets have gone and others are selling fast. I rang the ticket office up yesterday (to get Colchester tickets) and the line was busy. I rang at 9am and the queue was 13, at lunch time to a queue of 6 and then finally got through (after a 10 minute wait) in the mid afternoon (on my way to an external meeting). Let's hope we can shift the other 1k over the next few days. No excuses really. Where we're sitting in the table, current form and the importance of this game. We absolutely should be selling 3k.

My last trip to the Valley was the 5-2 game when we battered them. I'd take a point now and snatch you're bloody hand off at a scrappy 1-0 win!?
Are you coming down Boo? Bought time we met for a beer.
