No, it’s isn’t when I start mentioning the likes of JOC. This is when I repeat that question that you’ve failed to answer. Which other teams have had a similar injury record to ours? You must know given your previous comments.

We were told a few months ago that if we don’t go up this season it’ll cost the club £100m so there answer was to give the managers job to a bloke who’s never achieved anything of any note within the game.

You watch, this season will fizzle out and we will probably finish about 10th, not much higher than if we’d have stuck with Slav.

First choice back 5 has Davies at RCB and Jack Robinson in it?
Only 2 of the first choice back 5 (if you discount JOC) were on the pitch yesterday and only 1 in the right position. 4 injured first team strikers

Is that the ‘Slav’ who was the absolute opposite of the cheap option? The guy who had us floundering towards the bottom of the table. Who would you have gone with?

I used the word arguably, Davis on loan from Liverpool is more than adequate cover in this position. Jack Robinson has established himself as first choice LCB. The striker situation, I have already stated previously.

These players have been good enough in the past and in these positions to win games of football.

"You used the word arguably to give yourself an out" is the use of the word banned on here, just because I have a different opinion than you and think that the manager has got arguably adequate cover for the injuries, with the exception of the strikers? And I don't buy into that as an excuse for Saturday?

If we are talking quality in terms of injuries as well, then without doing any research into this I would say Blackburn. Both Diaz and Dack (arguably two of the best players in the division), also I believe that that have other long-term injuries to their first team squad?

In terms of other players that they have missing, why don't you research it, it won't take you long?

If we had had Hecky and co from the start of the season then based on our form since they took over we’d be certain of a play off spot and would probably have got automatic.

Just to give you some facts.
  • When he took over we were 16th, 8 points off a play off game
  • 20 games later we are 1 point off (and were in play offs until beaten by a team that was in 6th place when he took over)
  • We were 8 points off a relegation place, we are now 32 points off a relegation place
  • He has a win ratio of 52%
  • If the season had started on 25th November when he took over we would be joint top (3 points clear at top before Stoke game)
So pray tell who would have done a better job (other than your belovered Darren)?
