Fully agree. If Slav had been allowed to fulfill what he was brought in for, this would be a happy site this evening. The Prince and his greed has been totally influenced by the disgusting, poisonous mindset of Stephen Bettis
Any evidence that the Prince is greedy and that Bettis has a poisonous mind?

Serious question.

Read what I wrote. Every team has injuries...all season long....that's football...and when u rely on mid 30s strikers (Didzy and Sharp) and unprofessional pissheads youd better believe you will get injuries.

Forest have had 2 of their back four out for 2 months. Bournemouth have had Lewis Cook, David Brooks and Kieffer Moore out for months etc etc.

You have to deal with it and get on with the game

I did read it. You’re trying to compare our injury situation with that of other teams. I’m asking which teams have had a similar injury record to ours.

Having two defenders out is in no way comparable with out situation.

Our injuries are that bad that we’re having to play an 18 year old as our only striker, with another 18 year old as his back up on the bench. We can try and “get on with the game” but can you not see how our injuries might be playing a part?

I have said it from day one that the current manager is a bag of s@@@. He is one of the worst managers that the fat potess bog roll could have gone for.

Hecky has got some credit in the bank like a few have said but it won't last and is starting to run out already, some of the performances over the last month have been dreadful. He is far from being a tactical genius and like Haslam said he's just got the players playing the way there used to but he never really changes a game with his subs or a tweak in the system but that can be down to the players as well just not been good enough to play any other way which we saw with Slav.

Regards Slav I asked one of the players who's not with us now what the deal was with Slav why the performances were poor, his response "Its not the managers fault its the players aren't good enough to play the way he wants us too".. I'm sure most of us knew this anyway and I can't see Hecky an the rest being any good next season at rebuilding a squad capable of challenging.

Youngsters still having to make up the short fall on the bench and yet people think we will play like Brazil every week.
Shame McBurnie wasn't fit yesterday. Jebbison put a shift in, but got very little change from their defenders and appeared a bit lightweight.
Thought Osula offered more in his short cameo

Eh?!

If this management team had been in place from the start of the season we would most likely be chasing too 2 not too 6.

Look at average point per game and multiply by 46……

Relegation form to top form

Started today in playoff places

All results went against us today, and our performance was off it.

But we cannot ignore injuries and also the compounding factor that places on fatigue on the ones left

Whilst people are citing “how did we win at Barnsley” and other poor performances, let’s not forget Boro, WBA Swansea etc.

We are a team freshly relegated, in transition , having had a change of management after a dozen games

We have to accept a few shit performances time to time

Home form top six.
Away form bottom three.

The worrying thing for me is he doesn't seem to know how too change tactics make a positive substitution or motivate us away from home.
Let's not gloss it up yesterday was another poor performance away from home whilst all our promotion rivals won.

Is our home form just good because teams just come for a point and sit back allowing us to play our way, but away from home teams are more offensive and Hecky doesn't know how to counteract that.
I have said all along he is a poor manager and our performances away from home have done nothing to change my opinion. I also think that if he doesn’t get us up this season we will struggle next season and there will be more chance of relegation than promotion.

Hands up who would have taken where we are now to where we were when Slav was here, exactly
Its ended up a decent season after last seasons debacle and that’s down to this management team.
The youngsters need blooding in this league the Prem would destroy them
For his achievements Hecky and co deserve a good crack at it next season and hopefully with a good pre season and a full squad see what happens.

Every supporter deserves the opportunity to grumble on here, right or wrong. Anyone who has supported United as long as I have, knows that the team is equally capable of playing badly, and surprising you with great football. The club has always been inconsistent and unpredictable.
Challenge the moaners if you want, but I’ve learned to take the rough with the smooth over the years. A fit of pique is easily ignored.

On the subject of our current manager, I think he has made some very sound moves with the coaching team, and while there are mitigating factors for some performances, he is still learning his craft. Who knows what the future holds. I couldn’t believe it when we made the automatic promotion after only two seasons back in the championship? We can still surprise and we can still disappoint in equal measure. Our present status is never guaranteed. That’s just the Blades way of life. :)

You have absolutely unrealistic expectations for how well we should be doing given the amount of injuries we have. Yes, our away form is poor but look at what we're working with.
Look at what he’s got to work with next season. We are doooooooomed

Shame McBurnie wasn't fit yesterday.
Indeed, those half-time oranges aren’t going to cut themselves. Mind you, McBurnie would probably chop his fingers off if you gave him anything sharper than a box of crayons. And he’d probably eat them before someone distracted him with a laser pointer, or a length of string.

We are fucking terrible. Performances last couple of months have been terrible. Second rate cheap option. No chance of going up with these in charge
Last couple of terrible months-

Played 13

Won 6 (Brum, West Brom, Swansea, Blackburn, Boro, Barnsley)
Drawn 4 (Hudd, Hull, Forest, Blackpool)
Lost 3 (Millwall, Cov, Stoke)

Points 22 (17 home, 5 away).

In that run (unbeaten at home, quite wank away) I'd say there's been 4 genuinely great wins and performances (Baggies, Swans, Blackburn and Boro), 3 fucking dire losses, a couple of points where we should've won, a couple where we should've lost.

Inconsistent, which is consistent with the shite league and probably to be expected with the injuries.

The big worry/puzzle is where those utterly shite insipid performances come from where we look like we don't care and there's nowt to play for (including Forest and Barnsley first halves). That's countered by Boro, West Brom, Blackburn, Swansea when we were the exact opposite.

All in- we've injuries and we're a bit knackered. Inconsistency worries me, but we're unbeaten at home in those 2 months, and we've 3 in a row now at home, and 5 of the last 7. It isn't that bloody bad is it??

£100 to your charity of choice if we go up or £100 to mine when we inevitably don’t?
Your insult suggests you don’t have £100 spare.

£50 each way play offs??
Morning Dillis I would be grateful to except your charity bet all for a good course, that's why we have opinions and if a charity can benefit im in respect to you fellow blade 👍

Injuries are part of the game and when you have a team of over 30 year olds with the liked of Didzy, Sharp, Basham, Stevens, Fleck, Hourihane and Norwood you are going to get more than the average amount of injuries.

If you combine that with the fact it seems we may have rushed players back (JOC, Brewster) then we have had more than other teams but it's not unpredictable due to the reasons above. A younger, fitter team would expect to have less. Hopefully following the summer clear out that will be us next season.

Ps do you think we would have significantly more points without the injuries ? I do think losing Brewster was significant as he was coming into form. Bogle was playing well and hes been a big loss and JOC obviously would make a massive difference but weve been without him for 2 years. Losing Sharp is a big problem but at some point that was always going to happen as a 36 yr old cant play 90 mins twice a week on any kind of extended basis.

Let's hope Billy is back soon as apart from MGW I dont see where our goals are coming from without him

How and why we’ve got so many injuries is irrelevant to this discussion. The main point is that we’ve got the injuries and they’re of such an extent that they’re having a major effect on the team we can select each week. Our only two fit strikers at the moment are both 18 years old.

Yep, terrible. We’ve been top of the form table for a large part of the last couple of months. Dip in performances may also have summat to do with the injuries, don’t you think?
Every other team in the division have injuries as well. Cooper from the Scabs is head and shoulders above this joke that we have got as a manager.

I thought you all liked Darren Moore now.
Here we go, the typical "your a pig", bigger blade type response. I think that you will find that I have been against the Heck appointment from the beginning and have never changed my mind on this unlike some. He is a poor manager, always has been, always will be.

The pigs have come on after a win and got a lot of people going. Go back and have a read through. Ignore
Agreed, ignore what the pigs state and say, but not every blades fan rates the current manager and are allowed to say what they think, especially those who have not changed their view on him from day one, regardless of a few wins.

Which other teams have a similar injury record to ours?
This is where you will start mentioning the likes of JOC, that has been injured for quite a while and may never play again, poor old Heck, he doesn't have JOC to choose from!

All teams have injuries to key players.

First choice GK on Saturday, arguably first choice back 5 (like I said arguably, some people rate Baldock and RND over the likes of Stevens, etc?). Most of the midfield available, but no BS, Mcburp or McGoldrick. You could argue about the forward line, but what happened to the rest on Saturday? The performance levels were again not good enough from them.

I have said it from day one that Prem owner needed is a bag of s@@@. He is one of the worst posters that the you could bother interacting with.
