Hope so, one of the Liverpool youngsters on loan is.my.guess

Haven't we been shafted by Liverpool enough.
Maybe but if Brewster keeps turning in performances like he has been he just might pay us back , mind you Liverpool would then activate their buy back clause and we lose Brewster its a lose lose situation 🤷‍♂️

The thing is with Liverpool is... they don't just have your pants down with fees, they also effectively continue to manage the players whilst with loans clubs

You have to sign contracts in which you promise to play the players. Hecky wouldn't have much of a say, even if they are terrible.

and we already have one of their players. We'll not be dropping Davies so we're dropping either Bash or Egan if we sign one of those two.

Ever since JOC got injured we've gone for short term fixes and loans to plug the hole,Ampadu,Jags,Davies and others before he got injured in fact. The board need to get their hands in their pockets and start spending money on players at the right age who can be developed or are the finished article. As Egan and Bash slowly but surely go over the hill, they will also need replacing in the very near future,so it will be 3 cans we are kicking down the road, not one, plus back up unless we get a good prospect out of the juniors who can step up or Robinson shows the consistency needed.

It means we have a shit hot player on the books, turning in performances for us, and potentially have to sell him for £40m . That's not lose-lose.

With Berge staying I hope he gives his all for the last 6 months & shows why he cost us the amount we paid. Hourhaine & Norwood are comfortably keeping him out of the squad at the moment & thats his own fault because he has the ability to be the first name on the team sheet

Good news if Berge stays. He is a good player to have on the bench for a tactical sub. He's fast and skillful, he just needs to find his best role and stay fit

The board put their hands in their pockets but unfortunately they were empty.
