I loved wilder , they were the best times we’ve had as Blades probably in my lifetime, BUT I am not blinkered , he bought the players we have now , he refused to change tactics , he refused foreign players to sign the players we now have , not many of the players we have left that he signed would we be able to sell and make a worthwhile profit , he traded Callum Robinson for Oli Burke , he left us with a massively unbalanced squad , he spat his dummy out and quit a couple of times before he walked despite 100% public backing from the Prince . Not another manager in the country would have still been in a job with the record Wilder had since lockdown yet he was still backed !
Nothing to do with Wilder hating I loved the guy but whether you choose to believe it or not he’s left us well and truly shafted and it will most likely take a couple of years to recover , but I will still be there to watch as I support Sheffield United WHOEVER the manager may be !! And imho it’s not a coincidence he still doesn’t have a job and the guy who might be about to employ him is a nutcase who changes his club’s colours from blue to red ! Maybe he’s read your posts and he’s a believer!!
