I thought first half was ours. 2nd half was ours until they scored. After that, they had a good spell for 20mins. Then we gradually came back into it and finished the better.

A Stoke win would've been extremely undeserved. Did we do enough? Not sure.

There’s that idiocy, but more pressing is that he’s clueless around the subject of association football.

An example was that last week he was slagging off playing out from the back from goal kicks. Today that tactic was “spectacular when it comes off”, but minutes later it was something that “even five years ago was unheard of”

Had the normal Blades commentator and Kevin Gage on SUTV, stuck in a padded booth, whispering as usual. No idea what the atmosphere was like. Wish SUTV would get some pitchside mics rigged up.

As it was a 9pm kick off here, I thought to try the audio package for this game. I’m pleased it didn’t work and I couldn’t get it, as so many had to put up with Stoke commentary.
I had a full season of Radio Sheffield last season, and really enjoyed it, for simple good value.
I can live with Keith Edwards commentary, even with his slight SUFC bias and historical striker perspective.

Isnt it strange how people see the game differently?
I also had to suffer the Stoke commentators who were ridiculously biased. Waxing lyrically about how good Stoke were, referring to Endaaaar Steven, us as Sheffield Day after Tuesday to name just a few things.
Personally, I thought that we played well and dominated the majority of the play with the exception of about 10 minutes after they scored when we looked shellshocked and really disjointed.
On another day we win that comfortably. They appeared to have a game plan of absorb pressure and try to get it to Powell and sneak a goal. They had no real periods of pressure where we penned them in and pressed them well.

There are signs of improvement in each game for me and it is pleasing to see more crosses being put into the box although we do still have a tendency to overplay at times down the wings (More so the left than the right).
Looking forward to the next game on Tuesday although I'm not looking forward to getting up at 02.45 to watch it before going to work for 12 hours.......

I didnt have gagey on my SUFC tv live audio just Andy Giids doing his normal radio sheff comms, the atmosphere in last twenty mins came across really well.
