I would be amazed if Slav doesn't try to improve this area in Jan, even if it means taking a huge loss on some of the dead wood.

Billy is a lane legend no doubt and he's done well recently, therefore deserved the starting shirt. That said, I would've swapped things up at 65 min tonight and brought on McB.
Billy looked shattered and had a tough evening vs Boro CB's.

I felt we needed more impetus and should've sought goals more directly vs a very comfortable Neil Warnock side. They'll feel we played right in to their hands. Too lightweight, too intricate and not creative, or troublesome enough.

It's a tough one, i still struggle to see where the goals will come from with Sharp leading the line by himself.

Seems to be half a second late on chances (no surprise given his age) so rushing/snatching at things.

However on the other hand he seems to be so involved in setting up chances

Although could be argued that should be left to the 3 behind him and should focus on sticking them away.

6/10 performance today, when he played near the giant he was poor. When he played wider and brought others in he was better. He also made a clearance off the line for us (people jizz about McBurnie winning defensive headers).

I’d still have him and McGoldrick as our no1 and no2 strikers with Mousset for late cameos. McBurnie can come on when we need a corner heading away or someone to start scrapping with their defender
