in the Championship and every prospect of improving on that in the next season. Now they are about to start in the third division of English football with little hope of a quick return.

15 months ago the UK economy was expanding at an annual rate of 4.4% and with good prospects of continued rapid growth. During the last quarter it has grown at a miniscule 0.2%, is probably now contracting and it will take many years to get back to the growth rate of 2010.
