Been absolutely pathetic second half. Starting to make slow progress and this is a huge step back. The subs have been horrendous, the tactics have been confusing.

The team needed freshening up in one or two places. I’m worrying about Slav, we’ve got a very very good squad and he’s not getting the best out of it.

I’m not sure it’s as good as we think it is. Desperately needed fresh blood across the squad and ultimately only added 3 lads

Berge, Egan, Olsen, Fleck, MGW, Davies.
McBurnie / Sharp / McGoldrick all scored 15 plus last time in this league. NDiaye has raw ability. Brewster has something in him (we’ve not seen it granted). I feel man for man we’ve got a better squad than every team we’ve played so far other than West Brom

In my opinion on paper we’ve got a really good squad. Slav can’t get the best out of it. Struggled vs every team other than Hull & Peterborough. Not good enough

We never get anything at Riverside. Sharp, MGW not at the races, midfield cheap in possession, too much room for the goals not enough movement in opposition box. Don’t like to single players out but Baldock had a stinker not like him, Ndiaye my MOTM. Bad night at the office, think this season will be mid table mediocrity we just don’t have that extra bit what WBA, Bournemouth even QPR have but still have faith in Slav for next season give him 2 more windows. UTB.

The last time in this division we played very much round pegs in round holes. A lot of players this season are showing they clearly lack the flexibility to adapt their game to a new way of playing.

A squad is all about having strength in depth. Scratch beneath our first choice players and our squad is mid table at best….Norrington-Davies and Jack Robinson being perfect examples of that.
