Theoretically maybe, but show me an area of the ground where I can get our 4 season tickets together.
Not convinced they would do that reasonably satisfactorily. Look what happened to Deadbat (and others) at the start of the first PL season. Don't get me wrong, we're in John St so it probably won't affect us, but for anyone that it did, they could be forced to move stands. They’ll be able to shift you somewhere else. If they can manage it at clubs that sell out every week, they can do it at BDTBL.
No, but seating would have stopped it..........Standing didn't cause the disaster.
Should convert the useless Kop corner into a standing area
Nope, seating would've made it worse. No, but seating would have stopped it..........
Do you have any idea what the safe standing looks like?Yes lets all vote for another Hillsborough eh,

I'm available. If there are any 6'4" people at the lane perhaps they would be better in central defence when we are facing a corner?
Don't be silly, for a start if they had had seating there wouldn't have had fencing, and that's what caused the trouble.....Seating would likely have caused more deaths
Make it the H Block!!
Won't be standing behind a seating section I wouldn't expect going on safe standing areas in Europe, will be a lower section on whatever stand down to pitch level. No chance it would be adjacent to the away end.
Will likely be the back section of the Kop I imagine, or back half. Would be perfect.
Kop corner maybe?
John street stand.Probably the best option as a starter. Limited capacity because it's small (also means less spent on installation), not many sit there so easier to reseat any that do and it'd ease the overcrowding on the back rows of the Kop.
I genuinely don't even know where the entrance/turnstile is for that stand.
Sat in there a long long time ago just after it was built you used to go in through John street and then there’s an internal set of steps up into the corner. So you use John street toilets and facilities. Which might be the impediment to using it for safe standing as it would compromise the family friendly element of the standProbably the best option as a starter. That disappeared long ago when all the kids in there grew up and never relinquished their ticketsWhich might be the impediment to using it for safe standing as it would compromise the family friendly element of the stand
The family friendly element is already ruined tbh. Some right louts on there. Ah fair enough not been in for years moved onto the kop with my dad in my early teens. The family friendly element is already ruined tbh. Some right louts on there. Fighting in the concourse etc.
Most of it is restricted view so you'd have everyone squashing towards the kop side in order to see the Lane End part of the pitch. Would potentially be quite dangerous.Kop corner maybe?
Oh no, not more years of disappointment !!Safe standing is fabulous. I've experienced it abroad and loved it! Much improved atmosphere and I once read that you live longer standing rather than sitting for long periods...![]()
