if switching to a 4 the only really option is surely a diamond. Norwood at the base fleck and berge with Freeman or the french lad at the top

that being said I personally think the best option we have is to go back to the Duffy 3412 using Freeman in the Duffy role. Then use ndiaye alongside another striker as he would be better running the channels.

I just went with what I think slav wants to do eg playing with width as evidenced by him trying to go 3 up top when he arrived I think his style of play needs that width. Brewster granted hasn’t done it before but it’s actually where he’s looked best for us in that game against Swansea and ndiaye can play wide in a 3

Personally I don't think we would, i think we can finish above at least 3 teams. Definitely 100% will not be going up though and I worry if we don't go straight back up how long it would take too get back there.

If he doesn't get any backing, Slav needs to use our young players, essentially as his new signings.

Get Brunt, Lopata, Jebbo and NdIaye into the mix regularly, and see what they can do. RND is already showing some of the senior heads how to do it, and like him the 4 mentioned aren't carrying the shellshock from last season. Playing Ndiaye especially would be a fantastic middle finger to Van Winckel.

Freeman should be a focal point too. Get all these lads alongside Billy, Bash, Baldock, Egan and Didsy, who all still seem to care, and we'll be reyt.

Despite how terrible we've been, I still think we've too many players who are proven to be good at this level to drop. Confidence is at an all time low just now, but this team is absolutely capable of better things. Sadly though a think better things is midtable.

Nowhere near the creativity for a promotion push, but solid enough for midtable.

I hope you're right. But strikers doesn't seem to be our problem, it's midfield. All of our midfield have been awful for a very long time. We don't know how to create a goal let alone score one. Our strikers don't get chances, the solution as I see it is to get in better midfielders but we don't look like it will happen. What will need to click with our current undroppable midfield for us to suddenly start creating (let alone scoring) chances?
