I’m saying if we buy no one we are going down. We have 1 goal in 5 games with more than £40 million worth of strikers. Granted the midfielders and keeper are the biggest problem though. Not a foregone conclusion as there's a long way to go yet. It's obvious we must bring in new players to progress though.
Do you believe they are good enough to win football matches?I don’t agree Entirely. If we are not signing anyone and not sellling we just need the transfer window to close. These players like Berge will then have clarity. That at least will be one less excuse
What formation and players could he play with what we have that would be successful? If the manager stays no I don’t think so I think he’ll tinker until he finds a formation that is somewhat effective and he’ll get frustrated and bomb out some of the consistent none performers in favour of some of the kids. However, those kids aren’t up to promotion chasing standard and we’ll have a torrid year in the bottom third of the table.

Who can create chances in our current team?I'd be more confident with, "If we sign no one, we'll struggle this season". I don't think we'd necessarily go down. Either Slav would be able to tweak it enough with what he has to pick up enough points or he goes and someone like Heck can squeeze a bit more out of them.
The most worrying thing at the moment is our inability to score goals or even create many chances. If we can't solve that then who knows.
In theory it should do Brewster looked effective against Swansea playing out wide left (before he ended up forced back to leftback). Ndiaye I like he has a good understanding of the game and the runs players make at the top of the pitch I’d like to see more of him. Freeman needs to be given a run in the side now to see if he can create so put him in his natural position with brunt as competition. The defensive midfield two well berge has it in the locker is just whether he wants to show it and if we can release him slater may be limited but he’s committed and would put the spade work in alongside berge winning back possession. The back four would concede chances but hopefully we’d score more and the fullbacks would give us attacking output. Billy is billy and if chances are created he’ll put them away and we’ll we don’t have a better option than wes.Do you honestly think that would work?
You'd have Brewster in the team.. Genuine question, have you seen him play for us before?4-2-3-1

Yes and his best game for us was in the position I’ve put him in against Swansea we have no other option out there we’ve tried didzy and he can’t do itYou'd have Brewster in the team.. Genuine question, have you seen him play for us before?
On current form your guess is as good as mine.Who can create chances in our current team?
Did you see him yesterday? He had about 3 touches one of which was a shocking touch which took the ball out of play the other was a shot/cross which ended up near the half way lineYes and his best game for us was in the position I’ve put him in against Swansea we have no other option out there we’ve tried didzy and he can’t do it
I did and he was poor. But Slav wants to play with width we’ve seen that when he first came in. He’s reverted to the 5-3-2 because he’s pretty worried and I think waiting/hoping he’ll get some players in so he can play his preferred way. When that doesn’t happen he’ll have to try and make a silk purse out of this sows ear and so far brewster looks like our only competent option wide on the left.Did you see him yesterday? I'd rather we play with 10 men

We will we’ve tried two options on the wide left of a three didzy and Brewster. Brewster put in the better performance in that position. Didzy has the better track record for us through the middle no doubt about it. As the central striker in my suggested formation I’d have Brewster as 5th choice but wide on the left I don’t think we have other optionsCompetentwe will agree to disagree pal
Hi Stegosaurus here,
I'd like to point out that I made a thread last season saying we are likely to do a double drop and I got jeered for it. Turns out, I was right.

You’ve got admit everything he did to get to the bye line was exceptionally good strong athletic skil and technique but then that cross never seen owt like itDid you see him yesterday? Ollie Burke is much stronger and way more athletic than him and probably better at football on the evidence of yesterday's gameYou’ve got admit everything he did to get to the bye line was exceptionally good strong athletic skil and technique but then that cross never seen owt like it
£23fucking million! I'd make Wilder pay it back in installments.Did you see him yesterday? He had about 3 touches one of which was a shocking touch which took the ball out of play the other was a shot/cross which ended up near the half way line

Sorry fella - I’ve heard some dreadful excuses for the non-performance of Berge, but needing clarity must be the most apologetic of the lot.I don’t agree Entirely.
