I'm not saying he won't be good, or a decent signing, but until we get the middle of the park sorted it doesn't matter how promising our forwards are.

I appreciate we're after a couple of midfielders but does anyone have confidence in our transfer team to get it done, or that Longstaff will turn us into play off contenders?

The whole team is rotten to the core and I'm not sure how some callow teens are going to turn it around (see also Jebbison).

Let's say Norwood is replaced by Garner and one of the wingers is Diallo, then we're not far off are we.

He's been trying Brewster on the left. Whilst he seems wasted out there, if he can get used to the position, we could look like this:
