That's what jokanivic’s interviews sound like! But so did Wilder's in the end.Blah blah blah
Playing Osborn left back , Dropping BashQuestioning the manager after 2 league games and no incomings.
There's some right clowns around sometimes.
Playing Osborn left back , Dropping Bash
I might not agree on some things I do thisAfter 2 games.
Makes you look a complete and utter bellend.
That’s all.
VideoYeah but you're saying all that with the benefit of having seen these players play for 12 months or longer. Give him time to learn what their many weaknesses are.
Poor analogy since they are all prossies (i.e. they get paid for it)People want to get their leg over, but don’t want to buy the dinner, drinks and listen to the boring stories. Like anything worthwhile in life, it will take time.

Experienced football man
Ask questions of Hecky and existing staff
And Wilder knew the exiting team from watching the Blades under positive Nige.It took Wilder a full uninterrupted pre season and several competitive games to figure out the way forward. As well as the aforementioned video, experience and questions asked of existing staff. Not to forget CW also had the benefit of bringing in several new players and training with them before the season even started and even then it didn't click for the first few league games.
Hi Stegosaurus here,
I said all along we could face a double drop. Our team is shit.
And Wilder knew the exiting team from watching the Blades under positive Nige.
Accepted
Bit what I can’t fathom out from the first two games is, what’s the plan?
I’m not calling for any changes, far from it, and I accept it’s going to take a good deal of time to bed in but to date I can’t see any pattern other than random.
And yet managed to master the overlapping centre back tacticThe plan is front foot football, except it relies on players being able to look up and be positive on the ball. But our players are shot of confidence and were never the best for football intelligence in the first place.
Because they were very well coached and drilled and played in an almost robotic way. That’s how Wilder got round their lack of instinctive football intelligence. I think that’s why we weren’t very good on the break, as it’s more off the cuff (and why we missed Moose, as he’s better when he’s doing things instinctively) and one of the things I noticed defensively is that we were very hard to break down when we were set and the players were in position but if there was a deflection or a miss hit pass, the opposition players tended to react a bit quicker than our players. And yet managed to master the overlapping centre back tactic
I think they have got used to playing in a certain way, I think they like us and CW, went into most games thinking it will click,, this time.Because they were very well coached and drilled and played in an almost robotic way. It should be less of a problem at this level but it’s still something Slav has to deal with. A better pre season would’ve helped.
They had the intelligence to learn a system no other manager has done (consistently) that's a very unfair criticism. The plan is front foot football, except it relies on players being able to look up and be positive on the ball. It worked fine for four seasons. I’ll maintain that there were very few options to change to, as that system got the best out of the players. Heck did show though that a tweak back to 3412 improved us a bit, although that was partly to do with us and our opponents having little or nothing to play for.I think they have got used to playing in a certain way, I think they like us and CW, went into most games thinking it will click,, this time.
It never did and we stuck with it rigidly, even after CW left. Seen something similar in industry, when you question a process, and get the answer " But we have always done it like this"
Yes but it's not working,,,its very, very hard to change that.
Ok, mr feistyI'll question whoever I want about whatever I want
"Leave it to the experts" - Fuck off, where's the fun in that?
What an absolute helmet point of view this isWBA are significantly weaker than last season
We are exactly the same but have added CW first choice target for LCB.
We really should be winning this.
I can see what he means, they have lost possibly their best two players, but equally as accurate is the new system might suit the players they have, going into this, given our form, confidence and previous performances, right now I would take 0-0, not that I think that will be the scoreWhat an absolute helmet point of view this is
Explain how they haven’t got weaker? Lost Yosulu/Diagne/Maitland Niles / Gallagher. What an absolute helmet point of view this is
