You seriously weren't aware of the two hours Foxy was phoning for a taxi from the ground back to the hotel?

It was after an England match and we could have got one, even if the price was expensive.

We did get one eventually, after I spent hours ringing. The locals said it's always like that.

Was this the cab that picked you up then keenz? :D

I think the camping route is a good idea. Especially as i've got a tent, and i'd sooner doss down in that than spend money on a B and B

Calm down! lol

I forgot. And i was talking about when we first got there. It made for a good night didn't it so stop you're complaining! :D

It started on general chat when we went to the first festival last year - but was moved on to here as its a special invitation made to us Blades - - That and the fact that the beer festival helps support the work of the Vics Fans Trust and the more people who read the thread, the more support it can generate - and more people read here than general chat.

So Swiss - you want a ticket??

Alright Sheepdip, sounds like a good laugh, but I won't be in the UK on that weekend (Can only get my UK weekends in during the Season and sacrifice the summer because of me 90 days)

I was merely being mischievous because the Shed thread got moved and that was more Blades related :)

Any bloody excuse Swiss :D Reckon the Vics chairman would make a special point of chatting to a tax exile from Switzerland!!

You should burn a couple of your 90 mate - the beer's better Hofbrau lager - or whatever it was we supped last time over your way (though even the Cat & Fiddle can't compare with the Grimsel Pass, Furka Pass and Susten Pass on a bike - absolutely stunning - and just as scarey!!)

And the beers we will have on offer are selected from Gloucestershire, Yorkshire, Leicestershire, Devon, Nottinghamshire, Mid Glamorgan, Lancashire, Merseyside & Cheshire.

Cider information is still to be received....

Pez.

Should be a good selection then :)

Chuck me your number across SheepDip, I don't seem to have it down right!

Have we definitely got the 8 people to fill the tickets?

Managed to get the Moonshine Cider 7.5% again, all we had left of this last year was the fumes !!

That was strong stuff. I don't mind a bit of cider but even that tasted a bit too sweet if I remember rightly.

Unsure if I can make this now with my leg. Sheepdip you got paypal so I can still pay for the ticket?

I'll see if I can get a lift with the Fox then! :p

Unless Rory or someone is having your ticket?

Unfortunately, my current situation means that I have a work shift that I can't turn down so I won't be going. Happy to pay for a ticket though if one has already been bought for me.

Sad to say no one made it over, due to sad news re Sheepdips Mother-in-law understood why he could not make it over, shame re the rest of you not attending, just hope you all reimburse SheepdipBlade for what he paid out.

Invite now to attend next years do, please sort yourselves out a bit better.......

PS it was a good night, Moonshine & Sheppys cider all went with only fumes left in the barrels with those two, just a shame we all did not meet up again.
