probably injuredThat’s mousse put into the under 21s
That sounds unlikely.During CW's reign every pre season there were reports about just how brutal and strict the training regime was, sounds like Slav is putting down a marker, even before he gets here, regards what will and won't be acceptable, a shake up and change that's needed.
It was also claimed though that our poor form post the original lockdown was due to the players continuing tk train as though they were going to be playing, whilst others rested theirs. Thankfully we haven't had many players at the Euros, as they will get very little recovery time if training is starting up again next week.During CW's reign every pre season there were reports about just how brutal and strict the training regime was, sounds like Slav is putting down a marker, even before he gets here, regards what will and won't be acceptable, a shake up and change that's needed.

It is a report and who is going to take the decision on who is professional and committed, when the main man arrives two days later !
I get your point but I'd also say that our players physical fitness wasn't in doubt last season (didn't only Leeds cover more ground?). They were, however, mentally fried. Can’t wait for the “players are unfit, I’ll make them the fittest in the league” comment that comes from all new managers everywhere and then the criticism of the former fitness coach (who previously was lauded as the ‘best ever’).
I think what he means is any player coming back ! Not up to par having had a fitness programme to stick to during the month or so away from training will be in trouble. That’s mousse put into the under 21s
Mousse needs to get up to speed. That’s mousse put into the under 21s
If ‘mentally fried’ means the same as ‘shit at football’ then I’m in full agreement.I get your point but I'd also say that our players physical fitness wasn't in doubt last season (didn't only Leeds cover more ground?). They were, however, mentally fried.

It's a bit of a "your postman will be visiting at some point today" type story. No surprise but I suppose it's a message to the fans that he plans to take no shit.

The source and the odd suggestion that someone other than the management team will be removing players from the group. Why is it unlikely?
The effect was there for all to see, cause, your guess is as good as mine.Cause and effect
But like Cuntstrams ,We covered more ground because we never saw any of the ball not because we were fit. Teams with lower possession normally cover more ground which is why that stat is pretty useless
I’m only joking of course, but it’s one of the things in football that irritates me, new manager comes in and “players aren’t fit”.Cause and effect
It's not useless in this context. If we were outrun as well as outgunned we'd have taken some Norwich level pummellings. Our discipline and fitness kept us at a mild rather than absolute humiliation level. We covered more ground because we never saw any of the ball not because we were fit. I've done it to death elsewhere. The biggest two issues were that we lost the continuity in the back four/six, and that we were figured out by the opposition managers and Wilder did nothing to react to that. The effect was there for all to see, cause, your guess is as good as mine.
Spot on.I get your point but I'd also say that our players physical fitness wasn't in doubt last season (didn't only Leeds cover more ground?). They were, however, mentally fried.
Then that leaves us with the big question. WHY ?.......It's not useless in this context. If we were outrun as well as outgunned we'd have taken some Norwich level pummellings. Our discipline and fitness kept us at a mild rather than absolute humiliation level.

That could mean excess weight or stats not up to scratch.
Mousse will have real difficulty if he's not avoided fast food such as pizza.
Good start by the Serb ! letting the players know he wont tolerate slackers
