I think we all want a fighting chance! 2 days left to renew at current prices, maybe announcing a new manager would give that a bump unless their plan is to get more money after the deadline with people piling in on the back of a good appointment. After the Burnley debacle I don’t think they have an issue with fleecing

That isn’t fleecing. Everyone has plenty of time to renew if they wanted them at that price, if not then you’ll have to pay the uplift. The ST prices are excellent even without the refunds.
I definitely would announce the manager after the deadline so that there’s a stimulus to bump sales for all fans who are in two minds.

It's gonna happen. I'm of the Jonesy type personality from Dads Army - those old enough to remember see below, and even I'm chilled now on it. Once the media are all over it you know it'll just be a matter of a day or two. Even James Shield has said so, and we all know that he only gets a heads up when the player/manager has already signed, met all the staff, done the photoshoot with the shirt and then someone at the club says "better ring Shieldsy now so he can call it a Star exclusive"!
