There are loads of clubs without managers and no ones moving an inch ?

Apart from getting Tindall in within days and announcing he and Heckingbottom would be taking over until the end of the season.
Tindall ? Bettis' mate ? Clearly a masterstroke of epic proportions.
And , if you've missed it , the season has now ended , so the appointment of PH & Tindall is now past its sell-by date.

Yeah, Tindall, former Premier League assistant manager.

For all you lot know Tindall could be the main reason Eddie Howe was so sucessful , as a Manager , why not look for a few positives .
I don't really care if he's bettis' boyfriend, he's got 12 years experience as an assistant coach. For a short term appointment I have absolutely no issue with it.

Not the point though is it. The accusation was that we'd done naff all in addressing the absence of a manager, when in fact we quickly made Heckingbottom interim manager and hired someone to help.

Whether they're good or not is another matter.

Season ended on Sunday, I'll be a bit miffed if we have no news before the window opens on the 9th.

There is plenty of evidence that “naff all” is miles off.

Yes, but we haven't moved an inch in three months since Wilder left.
Actually the board had an idea Wilder was leaving when he did. He put in his resignation earlier then he was talked out of it.
If the board is worth it's salt they knew he was unhappy and should have been looking for options in January.

The quick decision to get Tindall in didn’t go down well either. Somewhere, Someone who criticised the club for acting hastily will now be, well, you know....

Dead line for renewals is upon us, call me stupid but this factor may decide where we shop at for the manager, it shouldn't of course, but PA will be licking his financial wounds of that there's no doubt, maybe a poor uptake on renewals (covid fear, no wilder, etc) and we can't meet SJ's wages as easily, maybe we then need a cheaper option, PA is not here to lose money remember, he's been straight from the start on that one.

The SJ appointment appears stuck on contractual issues, we've been told he was our man and just a few details need ironing out, those details could be financial, player recruitment could be a factor here too, he'll want a fighting chance..

I think we all want a fighting chance! 2 days left to renew at current prices, maybe announcing a new manager would give that a bump unless their plan is to get more money after the deadline with people piling in on the back of a good appointment. After the Burnley debacle I don’t think they have an issue with fleecing

Looking like classic McCabe, get the season ticket money in then hit the fans with a shit appointment and player sales, it's the Blades way.
