Whatever the club do, I just hope they don't drive him from BDTBL to Shirecliffe before he signs- the sights of Pitsmoor and Page Hall on weekday lunchtime will be enough to put anyone off, even a mental Serbian!
Either that, or he's isolating in a hotel somewhere with 46 recordings of every game this season studying the performance of the squad. I'd be quite content if that be the case.Hopefully someone just showing him houses in whirlowdale.![]()
Worth the wait though. It's like Brewster all over again. Went on forever.
I bet he's not content having to watch through all that.Either that, or he's isolating in a hotel somewhere with 46 recordings of every game this season studying the performance of the squad. I'd be quite content if that be the case.
I didn't think 10 days quarantine could be any worse. I was wrong.I bet he's not content having to watch through all that.
Nixon is my only source of hope these days.
Young Prince’s house is availableHopefully someone just showing him houses in whirlowdale.![]()
Or there's blame for multiple people and you just hate the owner?Yes there has, when allowed to spend the amount of money needed to get it going.
The point you seem to fail to grasp is that we won’t be hitting the ground running, and that’s not because our manager has left at the end of the season and we’ve had no choice, we have been like this for almost the last third of the season. And it’s a chance missed to properly prepare.
Who’s doing the retained/released?
Who’s putting the list of targets together?
What’s the style of play we are aiming for?
Will the new manager get the best from players here in contract or will some need to be moved on?
A small list of the many issues we are blindly walking into, when this should have been resolved weeks ago. And all brought on ourselves again.
I stick to my prediction, and will sit back again and look at the loons on here and in the stands who will be hammering the players, the manager, recruitment teams when the real cause of the problem is some abysmal management of the club at board level which has led to us being where we are now, and where we will be in 3 months time. Because there’s one thing we can be sure of, we won’t be spending big money to get promoted, we will be carrying on with the same ways that led to missing out on targets last summer and eventually leading to the manager best qualified to get us back up walking away.
But it’s ok...they talk a good game and the loons believe every word so it will of course be someone else’s fault.
I think it's got to be something to do with that. Said so before on here. His contract ends on 30th June (I think I've read that), so if we want him to leave before that then presumably we have to pay his current club. Maybe effectively Jokanovic is already making decisions but the club are waiting for every week to go by to pay less compensation. I may be totally wrong, obviously, but that's my best guess that it could well be with his current club. Are we not just waiting for his contract to officially expire with his club in Qatar before announcing it?
I'll start believing SJ is in the building when he's basically unbackable due to suspended betting
As Bob says. All the odds tell you is that there's more money down. However, it doesn't mean yet he has the job. I have seen odds much shorter than that suggesting a particular manager has got the job, but it turned out to be wrong
You wouldnt go that way though would you unless you were a D Taxi taking the scenic route
I dont get all the panicking as long as we get the right man for the job
Wonder if the Baggies fans are having the same meltdown they are in a worse situtation than us
I don’t think we’ll hear anything until next Tuesday. My guess is his contract is up at the end of the month.
I could also be hugely wide of the mark as I do not claim to be in the know whatsoever![]()
.... and then look what happened. It's like Brewster all over again. Went on forever.
They're going to have to sell Periera and possibly Johnstone for starters. I don't think they're a more attractive proposition than us personally. Alan Nixon has also said we're well down the road with Jokanovic anyway. Any interest from West Brom will hopefully speed up the process!I’d have thought whoever gets the WBA job may be pleased that there aren’t players to offload and can sign the players they want.
