New Kit

How come we're always one of the last teams to release our new kit? Anybody heard any rumours on what it looks like? And does anyone know if we're still sponsored by Malta?

Not sure about the Malta sponsorship, but in the meeting with Batho (I think it was him) awhile back he stated that the shirts won't be here when we want them to be as Macron produce the shirts for the bigger selling clubs first. He stated that Leeds sell up to 100,000 shirts a year!, He also said that we may look into using our contacts in China to produce, and design, our own shirts so we are not dependent on anyone else

As regards what it will look like, there was a vote on it last winter and the below design was declared the winner

The club really are hopeless at times. How about doing a deal with a manufacturer that can supply the kits when WE want them? We'd sell far more if they were available early summer.

Exactly the red nike kits of late do look rather good.

I'm a bit suspicious as to why the club shop is clearing out the Macron gear as fast as it can, as cheap as it can. Could it be that we have told Macron to sling their hook?
