I've said before that I actually rate Bannan despite his strange personality (bazzaboi10) & affinity to them lot. He'd be ideal competition to Fleck, between them you'd likely always have at least one on form.

He finds space, keeps the ball moving, has an eye for an incisive pass, fairly tenacious, not bad on set pieces. I certainly think he'd add something to our squad in a position where we need some competition. Provided the contract was sensible, I wouldn't mind this one at all.

Say what you like about Wednesday but this lad always sticks out as their best player when he plays. The only other Wednesday player I've liked the look of over the last couple of seasons has been Jacob Murphy, now back at Newcastle & performing quite well. The rest can do one.

One of the best League One Midfielders now.

I heard Piggies talk about him for years, hadn't really seen much of him until we played them. Couldn't believe how much we overran him at S6.

I've watched him a few times since and its clear that against the shitter sides in the Championship, he looks a decent player, but put him against a half decent mid table side or above and he goes missing.

He's not a top end Championship player, he played upper midtable side for a couple of years, but like the rest of their side, he's regressed.

I'm guessing that the flirtation that Wednesday had with the top 6 was his peak. They had a number of players that were capable at that time.

Don't disagree im talking hypothetically he would be a very good signing

If anything he's wasted having a solid prem career at a bottom half team for his loyalty to the pigs

Wouldn't he be more of a like-for-like with Norwood? Except Norwood has proven him to be far, far better at Championship level than Bannan has ever even come close to being.

Well he's played that well at Forest they don't want to sign him. As much as people slate Wilder for letting him out on loan, he must have seen in training he wasn't up to it this season. His spell at Forest shows this too.

That being said, he will be returning to us and I think his main issue is fitness. IF he can get fit again Freeman is an excellent attacking midfielder in the Champ.

As for Fleck give him a good pre-season and in the champ especially he will prove his worth again. This season he's had injury issues and I'm pretty sure hasn't been at 100% after his injury back in October.

1. Berge was one of the most sought after young talents in Europe last season
2. Bannan, as far as i'm aware has never had a team bid for him since he signed for SWFC
3. Berge has played just 15 games this season so can't be held accountable for his part in a terrible team
4. Bannan played 49 games and is seen as the key member and best player in a terrible team
5. Berge has 23 caps for Norway
6. Bannan has 27 caps for Scotland and hasn't made an appearance for them since October 2017
7. Berge has played 6x Champions League and 10x Europa League Games
8. Bannan has 3x Europa League games
9. Berge has won a top flight league title
10. Bannan has won a Championship Play Off
11. If Berge leaves United, it will be to a top flight club in whatever country he goes
12. Bannan has signed a contract extension at a 3rd division club
13. Berge is 23
14. Bannan is 31
15. Berge is good
16. Bannan used to be good
