Clement of Brugge plz.

3 titles in a row with two different teams and he's looking for a new challenge outside Belgium after this season.

I'll take moriniho lads..

If he's on the table.. Which he's not BTW..

God I hope this bites me on the arse.

Trigger from Only fools and horses,if he can make the same broom last 20 years I'm sure he can get that shower of sxxt straight back up.

I would predict a Danny Wilson type protest of suitably 'massive' proportions in the event of that nightmare scenario.

I was actually in the car park that day, it was cringe worthy and fucking hilarious at the same time, I wasn't near the statues, I was parked at the back wall with RS booming out, you could hear the boos when mcabe announced him on the radio feed...

I happened upon it as I'd been to Billy Clarkes for some fishing tackle and just went by to see what if was mooted on blades mad had actually come off.

Of course, it happened, poor old Danny Wilson, a good egg, just sad that he was a fucking pig wasn't it..

Possibly another blue plaque ...

"first ever booing protest on managerial appointment"

Lets be honest.....it’s a really difficult choice.
Sheffielders (in general) don’t like change....Wilder performed a miracle....so his replacement immediately starts with scepticism.
We could appoint Pep Gaurdiola or Zidane and many will be saying “it’s a terrible choice...sack Bettis, sack the Prince”.

We were supposed to be developing a culture with a continuity plan in place, set by Wilder.
So would that mean we appoint Higginbottam? He knows the club and has been successful with the under 23’s this season,

On paper Howe is probably has the highest rated of the options
but Nigel Adkins was the same....another ambitious appointment with an impressive CV
but that turned into a disaster. Also Howe is calm, articulate and softly spoke. I’m not sure Howe has the personality that suits our club.
In the last 40 years we‘ve only had success with Bassett, Warnock and Wilder....all three were straight talkers with pashun.

Normally I wouldn’t go for a foreign coach...it would be a massive risk but would at least be more accepted by fans.
Also Barnsley have used that method....bringing in unknown foreign managers and it’s worked well for them.
We could wait to see if they fail in the play-offs...then take the Barnsley manager..he will know the league.

It might sound daft but the most ambitious and best selection could well be Valerian Ismael (Barnsley manager).
If they win the play-offs we‘ve no chance enticing a PL manager to drop a division. If they fail then there’s an arguement he’s taken them as far as he can.

It’s not that easy as what manager you want.
We’ve all got no idea what each wants to do the job, what their plans are and even if they’re even a possibility.
Would those that want Jankanovic have him at any price regardless of what he wants paying or what he wants to do with the squad and youngsters? Blessin, is highly unlikely to be allowed to work here. Howe is holding out negotiating around his back room staff with Celtic, would he even come?

Mostly people are looking forward to shouting "sack the board" and singing Chris Wilder songs

Dingles play hoofball, not what we want at all.

Steven (a regular Barnsley fan caller) always called Radio Sheffield and he raves about their manager.
He’s in his 50’s and always says he’s the best manager he’s ever seen at Barnsley.

I’ve heard him say many times if clubs (like Brentford and Swansea) want to play an open game of football we like that style and regularly play teams off the park.
However If teams (like Millwall) want a physical battle with long balls...we can adapt to that style too and can show physical strength.

The Barnsley fans seem to be proud of their style of play.
However they admit in their last game against Rotherham they were poor and did resort to hoofball.

Mourinho should challenge himself. Although he did get pretty depressed living in The Lowery I’m not sure the Copthorne would make him happy.

Wasn't there myself but know of someone who was. Strong feelings.

Can we add Carlos to the list? Now taking Braga to the Europa League and comes with plenty of championship salt for our 3rd division neighbours
