Having parted company with the best manager we've had in recent history, who would've been the best person to get us back up next season, are we really considering giving the job to . . . . . . . Heckingbottom. . . . . . I mean, really??!! This would possibly sum up our club perfectly (although I'd mistakenly thought we'd move on a bit from "The Blades Way"). This just won't happen will it?! . . . . . . .

Last seasons Wilder would have been 100% the best man the bring us back up. This seasons Wilder? Fuck knows. May as well be Heckingbottom.
 



Jokanovic for me, purely on style of play and the fact he has twice been able to get teams promoted from the championship.

I'm still worried about the presence of Tindall around the club though, and given his connection with Bettis, whether this is already a done deal and the shortlist is a smokescreen.

Time will tell I guess.

Apart from Wilder? I think a lot of people would say Jokanovic, who has been promoted from the Championship to the PL more often than Wilder in any case.

I would predict a Danny Wilson type protest of suitably 'massive' proportions in the event of that nightmare scenario.
 



Went for the Serbian. 2 promotions and a bit of intent from the board. Clearly part of a transition to the DOF model. Will no doubt lead to financial chaos downstream and a plunge down the leagues but so what
