That’s probably why he was asking for players don’t you think? This is bloody awful as it has been all season.
What on earth are some of these players doing?
CW must have known we had some serious problems.
With Wilder in charge there was a good chance of a turnaround and push next season.
If we stay up next season, now, I’d settle for it.
My opinion is both TBH.Who has ripped the heart out though, is it the owner or CW or both?
The owner stated in a news article last week the global brand will not be investing in the FC's next season and it is a time to consolidate after purchasing the French club. This bloke is another con man out of his depth owing FC's, but to say CW is blameless in this mess is not what I honestly believe.I fear if the rumours are true about wholesale outgoings and no budget for signings. It’s not inconceivable given it’s such a huge job that we will struggle to get going again and there will be no patience for the new man given the circumstances. We’ve seen that recipe before and what the outcome is.
If Prince didn’t do enough to keep Wilder, he must acknowledge that a new manager needs a healthy budget because this is a monster of an overhaul needed if we are to implement new systems.
If CW had stayed and been in charge today I'm sure we'd have seen the same result.
I hope Chris is watching this , he’s left the team like this he’s let his minions on twitter make out as if he’s been sacked
He’s left his blind Supporters ready to fight the board
Hope he’s happy drinking his peroni with his £7 mill watching the club implode
Cheers Chris![]()
I think that both the owner and CW have made huge mistakes over the last two seasons, especially with the transfer dealings and could come back to bite us over the next year or two, especially as this con man doesn't have the finances to run a FC. Maybe we should have taken the Norwich approach and consolidated with the prem cash. I don't honestly think that CW would still be here in any case if we had taken that approach, but the FC would be in a far better position than what it is now.The owner stated in a news article last week the global brand will not be investing in the FC's next season and it is a time to consolidate after purchasing the French club. We could be in for turmoil over the next season or two by the sound of things and this current owner shouldn't be anyway near this club, but is still better than the last family that we had in charge. Sadly neither have/had the financial requirements to run a FC.
Ok it may not have been 5 but can you honestly say that if all this with wilder hadn't have happened this match wouldn't have ended in a defeat, or not having a shot on target, or being abject in terms of effort or skill, because I can't, this performance is exactly the same as plenty of others, this performance has nothing to do with heckingbottom or the boardWrong. We've never looked like losing by 5+ under Wilder, or even 4+ - how many matches did we even lose by 3 under Wilder since we got to the PL? 2? 3? To blame Wilder for how inept we've been today is folly
Stevo, he’s right admit it, we have been shocking all seasonDick
Hmm.That’s probably why he was asking for players don’t you think?
I agree.Nah, we'd have lost 1 or 2 nil. Wouldn't have got hammered though
End of the day, he's taken a very limited squad way beyond where it should be.
Some average manager is going to take it right back to where it would normally be.
Think you been smoking to much weed if you really believe thatSo you turn up for work week after week and your boss drops a turd on you week after weed ffs sake he’s shown balls by sticking two fingers up at the board
Wilder loads of ambition board nil simple
I agree.
But now we are at the very bottom of the Premier League and are not going beyond that anytime soon whoever might have been or is in charge.

And I am sure most, if not all, would agree. We're coming back down to earth with a bang, sadly.
End of the day, we were a League One team going no where when he took over. He did something phenomenal and took us to the verge of Europe last season.
So it turned out rubbish this season. I'd have taken this season post Adkins if someone had told me we'd get the 4 years prior, who wouldn't?
But without the rather unhelpful post match interview.Maybe a 2-0 defeat, like we got there last season

True.Either claim as to today’s result is based on nothing but what you want to be the case.
What rumours ? It literally says that the same core will be kept in the club statement yesterday ?I fear if the rumours are true about wholesale outgoings and no budget for signings. It’s not inconceivable given it’s such a huge job that we will struggle to get going again and there will be no patience for the new man given the circumstances. What hasn't happened in 200 gamesThis has never happened in Wilder's 200+ games in charge. Fact.
