Disappointed but looking ahead, making jokes to hide the deep sense of fear after seeing the managers we've been linked with.

It’s been coming let’s face it.

disappointed but looking ahead
Ditto, the chapter was always going to come to a close at some point. Excited to see what the next chapter beholds

Do we all think that yesterday CW tendered his resignation?

Disappointed, gutted but not surprised. As I have said this issue appears to have been rumbling on for a while regardless of what was happening on the pitch.

No surprise either that this shitshow almost puts us back at square one with a bunch of failed managers now being lined up to take charge.

Heckingbottom and Tindall is underwhelming to say the least.

Still they have the remainder of the season to show they are capable and can do a job, next season in championship.

I feel sorry for Alan Knill and wager that he will leave, to join Chris as his number two, when he lands his next job.

Sad day.

Top Division, Bottom DIvision, League Titles, relegations no matter what Banter will always prevail.

Dissapointed and slightly sad....thanks for the memories Chris
but as Greavsie used to say “football is a funny old game”

It doesn’t automatically spell disaster....I’m waiting to see what happens..
at least giving the Prince the chance to prove himself.

Currently trying to get pissed. Suspect I’ll be more forward thinking as the week progresses.

Atm it’s B

Leave his open for a few months though because if we appoint Neil Lennon it turns into the last option

I'm in the last category. I have no idea what's gone on or how it came about. Who was least willing to compromise? Nobody truly knows. It hasn't fully sunk in for me though, I know that much.

Pleased it’s over. Chris has clearly decided his future is away from us. Good luck to him. The negativity of every press conference this year and it’s not fault was gradually diminishing my love. I can hand on heart say being at bouncing day, Leeds and Stoke will live with me forever. Now we move on as we all have to. UTB

Neither really. Doesn’t seem real.
Yesterday was a very difficult day for everyone and emotions were running high. The mood on here now is sombre but nicer at least to see everyone isn’t at each another’s throats.

We’ve all got some time to reflect and not appointing a perm manager is in my opinion a smart move. Would’ve been a hiding to nothing from day blob.

Heckingbottom will take all the shit then in the summer it’s a fresh start and we all need to get behind whoever it is for the good of the club.
Unless of course it’s Neil Lennon where I won’t be around to protest, or see the first game, as I’ll have hung myself from a tree.

I am actually feeling fine now. If anything, it's something of a relief. We all needed putting out of our misery in this.

A big few months ahead though, so trying to be optimistic, but also realistic enough to know that we could be on the verge of another descent down the leagues.

Very drunk to numb the pain. Very emotional due to the news and the drink. Hoping the board take a very long swim in the river don.
