Having looked at the remaining 12 fixtures a sensible person could only say that 6 of the games are remotely winnable for a typical side in our position and we're worse than a typical struggling side form wise. We shouldnt expect anything from the other 6 games.

As we need exactly 7 wins to hit 50 point mark, I would say our hopes are slim to nil. We know for a fact we wont win all 6 of the remotely winnable games (I'll be surprised if we win any) so lets not kid ourselves.

A general rule of thumb is that all the Brits (Attenborough, Jackson, Pleasance, that Scottish guy who was in Crossroads) die while all the Yanks (McQueen) and pseudo Yanks (Garner, Coburn, Bronson) survive. Is Casey Keller still playing?
