I love how Souness gets trotted out in our defence. The guy is a cunt and his football knowledge goes as far as signing George Weir's cousin, because he's entirely clueless but a famous ex-footballer so he gets jobs.

Admittedly, I am very anti-Souness.

Can you imagine Sky trying to tell GS what he can and can't say?

Only good thing about Sky is pundits like GS and RK, they say things how they see it.
 
Graeme Souness' knowledge about any teams outside the top 6, is embarrassingly poor. He clearly doesn't know anything about us or any of our players when he's talking about us. I can't blame him for that really though, I'd avoid watching us at all costs if I wasn't a Blade.

He knows a bit about football, as befits somebody with three European Cup Winners medals and a fair few English League winners medals, admittedly before the Premier League.

I’d love to be in the room if you ever get the chance to tell him how clueless he is. In the case of this penalty, he’s absolutely right. We deserved nothing from the game, but that’s part of the beauty of football, ride your luck and hope.

And it’s Weah by the way.

If you read my posts on the match thread tonight you will see I think we were shit tonight and got what we deserved,nothing.
The point I'm trying to make is that VAR is a fucking joke. They have the best camera angles and still cannot see that is a penalty . Souness is right when he says ex players should be involved in the decision making.i have said numerous times on various threads that I'm convinced important decisions are being made by people who gave never played the game.
Id love someone to defend tonight the non decision in our match and the everton one.a classic example of why VAR is run by idiots .

I wasn't having a dig mate, and I can't even comment on the penalty as my stream. had dropped a d I didn't see it. I didn't even try and reconnect tbh, I'd give up.
Just saying it gives Wilder an out when he doesn't deserve one for that display.

I agree . Wait till you see the incident though.dont know what's been said on MOTD but I'm standing my ground.its a definite pen.

Well I can't question it for obvious reasons, but it does t forgive the owardly line up and display.
I just have no idea what Wilder was thinking tonight.
 
Sounds is the only pundit who is honest and doesn't show any bias towards the bigger clubs

How the commentators could contrive that reckless challenge to be a 50/50 is just crazy.

So Ramsdales on Wer was a 50/50 then as well ffs

I think Souness might've sent them himself based on how often he references that game. Almost like it's his only memory of "Sheffield".
 
Parker knew it was a penalty, that smirk when asked about it made me want to smash tv. Really hope they go down with us
