Changed my mind on Lundstram

Oh it's definitely a shop-window scenario. His brief stint as darling of the Fantasy Premier League community has made him too big for his britches and consequently, he's now cunted himself out of a potentially decent career.

Whilst I wouldn't put him in the weapons-grade twatwaffle category inhabited by previous luminaries such as C** A***s , Kevin Macdonald, Jordan Slew and Matt Kilgallon, I still believe it's best for all involved that he disappears from the club post-haste.

I remain agnostic on whether or not the door should hit his arse on the way out.
Jordan slew was sold by the club, didn’t ask for a transfer

Jordan Slew is the one and only player who I could claim to have insider info on. I knew his girlfriend at the time and she told me he hated his time at the club and was desperate to move on at the earliest opportunity.

Which worked out wonderfully for him as we all know...

I think both opinions of Lunny can be true, depending on how the lad turns out for the Blades that week. His performance against NUFC was absolutely his best in a good while, though. I agree, he played very well and showed plenty of commitment. I wonder whether, at the last minute, he's thinking I do have it good here...

The broader picture about his worth, he can feel hard done to around Berge joining. Berge was signed as Norwood's competitor, but we understandably didn't want to drop Norwood on the basis of his then form and role as team captain. Lunny can feel hard done to, coming out of the best (albeit brief) period of form in his career, to be replaced by a big money signing played out of position. That said, he hasn't consistently performed well since and certainly hasn't forced his way back into the side.
By the time Berge was signed lunnys form had nose dived, was player of season for first 3 months then form dropped off

Fleck did seem to have a lot more energy and running today and even drove forward a couple of times.
Norwood on the other hand, jesus on a bike, what was that.
I hope he's apologized to everybody in the dressing room.

Absolutely. Unless his mum dies this morning, or his wife told him last night she was having an affair - then there's no excuse for that today.

It was just lazy. Lack of skill is one thing, but a PL midfielder unable to control a ball is bonkers...

Different types of midfielders. Lunny is the water carrier, Fleck is the probing midfielder and more likely to create chances
Fair point, I'd agree Lundstram is more "industrial" with his work rate than Fleck. Fleck has steadily improved last couple of games but I feel we are yet to see him at full flow driving with the ball and committing defenders.Though we know from past experience he takes a few games to get going.

Wrong, his agent, Mark Rankine, was furious with Danny Wilson for not staring in league games and forced a move. The transfer fee was a lot more than he was really worth.
Ah that twat Rankine again. Silent you have triggered me. His (Rankines) non display against Wolves in the play off final almost matched Norwood's today. I wonder who was Rankines agent for that play off game, was it Warnock's son...and why does he seem to play a role in stitching our club up...

Any chance of some assists and goals golden boy? No doubt your little fan club will be supporting you, sooner you're gone the better.

I really try and give our players the benefit of the doubt but the number of times in the last few games I've muttered 'for fucks sake Lundstram' perhaps tells it's own story.

The first thing the club needs to do is take the offer made to him off the table completely.
He is one player we certainly don't need festering in the changing room next season. If he signs a new contract and then plays like Stevens and Norwood have done since re-signing, then it will set us back financially. We need new, fearless, blood in for the Championship.
An absolutely hopeless, clumsy player with no decent control or command of any position.

He is making me angry every time I watch him play. It has been a while since that has been a case watching the us play.

Tonight has to be one of the most selfish, lacklustre and spineless performances from a Blades player that I have seen in a long time.

To be fair against championship opposition in the cup, Lundstram has looked relatively athletic, I’d keep him around unless I could find a pot of gold somewhere

But but but he's had a good 3 months in 4 years for the blades!

Nah, he can fuck off.
yes he can but wilders to blame for picking him week in week out no effort whatsoever just stands pointing his arm at baldock would sooner see us give a youngster a chance whos gonna give 100 % even if we lose 5 - 0 the sooner he f***s off the better

There were multiple times in 2nd half when Baldock overlapped. But lundstram stopped put his foot on the ball and played it sideways. Didn't drive at the defense didn't look at putting Baldock in.

His priority is not winning or helping Sheffield United, he wants to stay injury free and keep his stats looking shiny simple as that.

That's exactly what Lundstram does every time he gets the ball. It's infuriating.

Would Love to see the stats on what percent of his passes go forward? He could slow down the world just now. Wilder should have duffied him out the door.

Didn't drive at the defense...
To be honest, this evening on about 74 minutes, one of our players went past a Fulham player and it took me by surprise. It wasn't Lundstram, needless to say, but it felt like that was the first moment all game. It may have been Jags or Bryan as it it was just around the half way line.
