I think both opinions of Lunny can be true, depending on how the lad turns out for the Blades that week. His performance against NUFC was absolutely his best in a good while, though. I agree, he played very well and showed plenty of commitment. I wonder whether, at the last minute, he's thinking I do have it good here...
The broader picture about his worth, he can feel hard done to around Berge joining. Berge was signed as Norwood's competitor, but we understandably didn't want to drop Norwood on the basis of his then form and role as team captain. Lunny can feel hard done to, coming out of the best (albeit brief) period of form in his career, to be replaced by a big money signing played out of position. That said, he hasn't consistently performed well since and certainly hasn't forced his way back into the side.
