Some offside decisions can be difficult....it relies on perfect positioning and peripheral vision.
but that one was so clear...for so long...its hard to believe a linesman could miss it.
Its either gross incompetence or cheating....either are pretty incredible.
Normally the Sky pundits would be going mad about this crazy decision
but the BBC are incredibly politically correct....The linesman was a woman....so it’s very unfortunate.
Who’s betting that Lineker and Co in the studio have been told to tone down any criticism/ controversy.
or maybe they’ll act like the commentators..watch the replay and say
”the camera angle makes it look slightly offside however it’s an optical illusion and it was JUST onside,
However credit to Barnsley...they worked so hard...and they gave Chelsea a really tough game”
Talk about having egg on your face ha ha
They showed the replay and it looked slightly on-side, regardless it was a very close decision.
Credit to the female linesman and I’m pleased for her.
You can bet there’s been 1000’s of anti woman criticism regards the decision that looked offside.
Abraham was offside for most of the attack but it looks as though he was a few inches behind when James crossed it,
