Problem is it doesnt say where on the pitch. I`m talking about a specific place where he seems to nearly always win a header. The aerial duels lost could mainly be in our box or the opponents box for all we know. Can you provide a website that breaks it down ?

We don’t know if he can cut it in the Prem because we play too many long balls and hope for the best off McBurnie, he hasn’t been used this way at any other club so why Wilder continues with these turgid tactics baffles me.

Nothing suggests to me that Wilder will change how we play when we deploy McBurnie in the Championship, most Championship defenders will eat long balls for breakfast, McBurnie will score his lowest tally in the Championship by some way because of how we play, i think he’ll fuck off at the end of the season to try and find his mojo again in a footballing side.

I’d imagine the logic behind it was that we weren’t expecting to dominate the ball and McBurnie offers us a physical presence and Burke can stretch the game. Brewster isn’t the type of striker who will make something out of nothing on the break he doesn’t have blistering pace he needs us to be dominating the ball and creating chances around the box. I think if everyone was fit we might have seen someone like Mousset the game plan seemed to be very similar to Everton away last year soak up the pressure and try and hit them in transition.

We aren't affluent enough to acquire the "finished article" in the Premiership, so therefore we purchase "prospects".
They can't all work out immediately and frustrating as it may be, young players upfront (McBurnie / Brewster) with shit service, are going to struggle.
Our midfield has been shit since the first return from lockdown, and only Fleck has recently begun performing somewhere close to their ability. Lundstram and Norwood have been hovering between being ineffective and an actual liability, both offensively and defensively.
Hopefully next season with a new RCM and either a new CM playmaker or Berge if he stays, we may see some reward for our strikers.
In the meantime ..... I would play McGoldrick as the CM playmaker and the tea lady at RCM
