How wank are we??

We weren't wank today we played well... Ramsdale made it difficult
Right, Ramsdale made an error he shouldn't have. But seriously, why on earth are you saying Ramsdale made it difficult? Not "Ramsdale, Lundstram, Stevens and others made it difficult". We went 2 up and then a couple of players just turned off.

Because of you put a competent Sunday league keeper in the net instead he saves the shot and we've got a comfortable 2 0 win... Were not hanging on

Just incase any of you missed it, were supposed to be a premier league side, so we should've won the game, and some of the play was ok, but we weren't good by any stretch!
Brewster is the new Connor Sammon, although Sammon actually score whilst playing for us, oh and wasn't £23m!!
How many sitters did we miss today too?? Our keeper is, for want of a better word, shocking, and when we do seem to start playing fluidly, suddenly we just give up?
I really can't see what can be done to fix it??

So where are we on your own " wank scale " today ? An 8 ? A 9 ? Or are you weighing in at 10 ?

Not as wank as Plymouth clearly.

It was far too close.

That's what the OP means.

We should have been out of sight, and that is what is wrong with us right now.

Confidence at an all time low and playing toe to toe, and on a par with a league one side without looking like we have anything more up our sleaves.

This squad is done.

That's what "Seriously, on a scale of 1 - 10, ten being total.......
Honestly never seen us like this before, were shocking" means?

I'm not sure it does.

All relative.

We've seen far worse clearly but in terms of the league we're in, and our standard in relation to that, we're probably as bad as we've been in my 40 years watching us.

Realistically this is going to be our most comfortable relegation since 76 when I was still not 3. Likely our worst of all time.

The problem we have is that most of them are thick, and don’t have a clue what to do when they have to think about it. That starting lot loses by at least 2 to Bristol City.
There lies the problem when the system doesn't work, they're wired one way and have had to be because they aren't good enough as individuals like the 19 teams above us are.

Explains the lack of leadership and creativity because besides McGoldrick, we have a team of numpties who are all looking at each other for some form of inspiration and none can provide anything.

Agree there.

Basing the performance off this season, we were good in areas. As a team that's spent 130m over two windows we were pretty gash.

So we should have been out of sight but were also on a par with them? Makes sense.

In fairness it was Bash and Lunny that made the errors leading to Ramsdales's error 😁

No it was yet again an outfielder getting in a mess instead of passing the ball. Then two more errors before R dived over it.
Do you know, I've no issue with people slagging off Rammers for that goal. It was an awful effort. But to effectively absolve the others of any culpability with what can only be the motive of singling out a player with incredibly fragile confidence is unfair to say the very least.

never said we were.

But it clearly wasn’t a terrible performance for 90% of the match. No point pretending you’ve never seen us play that bad is there?
I mean in general over the season, same old, short passages of play look decent, then we forget how to even play the game!?
Our defence has gone from second best in the league to flat worst, our keeper....Well, less said about him the better.
Strikers are more like misses, so many poor decisions, poor shots, and generally nowhere near good enough.
Thing with the Adkins era, we were league 1 with league 1 players, and he didn't have a clue, and we weren't doing well anyway, this season were following on from an almost brilliant season, and it's shocking how far we are from last season, with largely the same players, we should be doing better, the lack of fans is obviously the main reason, but poor recruitment, wild substitutions and ingrained tactics are finishing us off.

Sorry, I was referring to the various errors in that second half. Stevens did a Lunny where he lost the ball 2 or 3 times in quick succession and nearly gave them a chance. All because of complacency and laziness.

Maybe we find someone how can coach him to improve his finishing? Maybe someone who lives locally with over 200 goals to his name ?

Really? Made perfect sense to me to protect legs and give George a chance to get some minutes under his belt.

Were either of the players who came in involved in the errors that resulted in their goal?

Nothing wrong with the principal of changing players - putting Amps in the centre put us under pressure.

it wasn't the fact we changed - it was the personnel that was the problem - total control to a pathetic jumble of players scrabbling about with zero idea of game management.

Burke did his best and a nice cameo especially with his pace.

We did our best to give Plymouth a chance of recovering from a position they had no right to recover from.

Self inflicted once again.
