It was a basic save to make.

The lad isn’t resilient enough to be able to take a digging out. After 5 or 6 games he was posting news stories of a keeper who quit because of criticism. Should have told us all we need to know. Henderson is an extrovert that believes his own hype so shit doesn’t stick. Rammers needs a rest, for his sake and the teams.

Brewster I agree.
He seems to like to position himself around the D but the problem with that is we don't really play the ball in those areas. I'm sure someone more clued up than we would be able to get a heat map up of this.

This is exactly what happened to George Long, kept him in too long when he was shot confidence wise and it killed him for a long period afterwards!

That's to do with character. Rammers shits himself coming for a cross, imagine him getting a roasting by the gaffer to the media. There's a huge gulf between the mentalities of Deano and Rammers. Rammers is a lamb compared to the lion mentality of Deano.

Having a goalkeeper in this bad form makes everything harder. Our defence is overly nervous, it causes hesitation during the game and gives the opposition a massive lift. Just like the formation though, he won’t change it.

Will any interviewers have the balls to raise the question of Ramsdales signing and subsequent performances? It shouldn't be off limits, and I'd be interested to hear why the other keepers aren't getting a game, particularly in the cup. If the answer is they aren't good enough or as good, that is an indictment on the recruitment.

What happened? Comfortable (should have been 5 or 6 up) and that's with Stevens and Fleck having absolute shockers.

Take norwood off, midfield capitulates completely and we're all over the place for the final 15.

1 shot on target and looked like ramsdale did his best to not save it. But what the fuck was basham doing, it's like he's trying to perform equations in his head when he gets the ball at times, absolutely pathetic.

We struggle in games we have little possession, today we've had majority, had absolute chances galore (without even hitting the target), should have had a pen, should have had a chalked off goal (wtf was sharp even doing???) and we still manage to be scrapping last 10 mins.

Ramsdale though, not good. I’m not sure what he does well. Doesn’t command his area for crosses, his distribution is terrible and clearly it’s not even like we can say ‘he’s a good shotstopper’. He looks broken

Good result, and good performance for me for 70 minutes. Last 20 was shaky. Sharp, Basham and Egan all good, Fleck and Lundstram ok. Norwood looked good too as he was given time. Brewster still looks lost, and Ramsdale looks bloody awful.

This. Wilder will do the exact opposite of what he’s trying to do and damage rammers more than it’s worth. He’s had three notable things to do today catch two crosses and save a shot against a mid table league one side. He caught one cross, juggled another and then dived late allowing the ball to go through him. 1 out of 3 is not good for someone who cost 18 million.

Whether work or football, you have to know your people.

I have performance issues with someone on my team but if I rip into her she will crumble.

But by the same token, i try to keep her away from duties she is weak at.

Obviously i dont know the players like wilder does. But I look at Ramsdale, and I see someone who is mentally shrinking, he looks terrified of being a goalkeeper, and that is spreading to the defenders.

Its borderline cruelty to keep picking him.

Cruising at 2 nil, the changes CW made were rubbish.

We didn't change the game to keep control at all and just invited them on to us - poor management for me with this game.

Game management once again was shocking.

Thank goodness a 35 year old legend of the Lane did the business.
