We'll see how they excel against League 1 opposition this weekend.Yes.we may need everyone whos willing to stay.think most of our players will excel in the championship.give jags and billy some sort of role other than playing
Good ideaWe'll see how they excel against League 1 opposition this weekend.
Hi Stegosaurus here,
The sort of thread I enjoy. One where I can have a moan.
Sell the following
Ramsdale - liability, but with him being young and English we could get our money back for him.
Berge - Doesn't fit out system, could get a nice 25-30 million
Mousset - Lazy. He's been with the club over a year and is still out shape. Fuck off.
Lundtsram - Doesn't want to be here
Brewster - Clearly didn't want to join. Doesn't want to be here. Puts zero effort in.
Rodwell - Pointless having him
Lowe - League 1
Robinson - League 1
Jagielka - Past it. Give him a coaching role.
Drop to squad-player level but keep as backup
Enda -- Gotta see about replacing him.
Norwood - Seems shit now. See if we can get a replacement.
Fleck - Ditto
Working class Brighton and Fulham figured out Norwood wasn't good enough for the premier league 3 and 2 years ago respectively. It remains to be seen whether he is at championship level 2 years on from when we were promoted
Sheffield Utd figured out he was good enough and he captained them to 9th in the league ,higher than Brighton and Fulham have been in the last 10 years.
It does remain to be seen, but I'd say with 3 years more experience and two of those in the Premier League, still only just turned 30, there's more chance of him being better than when we signed him, rather than finished.Working class Brighton and Fulham figured out Norwood wasn't good enough for the premier league 3 and 2 years ago respectively. Play Bill today, atleast we will have half a chance of scoring.Yes.we may need everyone whos willing to stay.think most of our players will excel in the championship.give jags and billy some sort of role other than playing
And McBurnie...Out
Moore
Foderingham
Lowe
Robinson
Ampadu
Rodwell
Jagielka
Bryan
Qsborn
Lundstram
Norwood
Sharp
NopeAnd McBurnie...
Yes but his confidence will be shot to bits next season, still got caught out in the championship too. Knowing he’s not good enough for the Prem may perhaps affect his performances. It does remain to be seen, but I'd say with 3 years more experience and two of those in the Premier League, still only just turned 30, there's more chance of him being better than when we signed him, rather than finished.
If you want Norwood to be a midfield cruncher like Hockey or a dribbler it aint going to happen ,let other players do that and let him do what he is very good at.Sitwell looks like Sheffield United kept him a season too long. He's just not mobile enough anymore, players go past him too easy and he cant carry the ball forward.
Ps when the facts change i change my mind
He hits about 10% of his shots with reasonable force and accuracy, a bit ropey for a striker.Unless of course you are part of the McBurnie scapegoat club.

Scored 9 in 15?? As well for Barnsley, including one where he dribbled from the edge of his own area near enough! He's averaged more than 1 in 2 in the championship, so clearly not that ropey. Scored past us a couple of times too.
To not want him in the Championship is mad.
Take five minutes to watch his goal highlights for both Swansea and Barnsley then come back and say what a nailed on goalscorer this lad will be in the Championship. He's averaged more than 1 in 2 in the championship, so clearly not that ropey. Scored past us a couple of times too.

This did not happen. (I've just watched that goal).Scored 9 in 15?? As well for Barnsley, including one where he dribbled from the edge of his own area near enough!
think the odds on norwood being good enough for the championship are 50-50 but wouldnt suprise me if he was moved on as for mcburnie im not a fan i must admit wish he would just play his game instead of constantly whingeing at the ref and wanting a fight with opponents so i will reserve judgement on him till hes playing at his level again hes certainly not a premier league striker imoI'm not saying get rid of McBurnie as he has more value to us than we could ever recoup but he has one strength; heading a ball that is dropped onto his head.
Just watched it back, I remembered it better than it was!Take five minutes to watch his goal highlights for both Swansea and Barnsley then come back and say what a nailed on goalscorer this lad will be in the Championship.
