Who’s protecting anything where have I or anyone else defended the results this season? Never you are talking utter shite pretty much like you have done for the past 12 hours!
We are a very small fish in a very big pond, last season has created people like you! So come on then mr football manager who do we employ to keep us up? Come on surely you must have a saviour who has been voted manager of the year 15 times plays great football and has kept a team in the premier league for the last 20 years. Come on let us all know your Pearl of wisdom and sell it to us why you think another man could keep us up? I am waiting with baited breath!
Yep. Shite. Sorry, I forgot we've done well this season, "little old Sheffield United" the small fish in a big pond is boring bud. Keep us up? Sorry to say, that boat has well and truly sailed. Wilder has bought the players, he's bought for the "system" we use. Nobody in football would keep this team up. Sorry to break it to you, but wilder has made these signings. Wilder has spent stupid amounts of money on players not ready, not good enough (take your pick) wilder is playing the squad, he sees what we all (sorry most blades) see... Utter garbage, a team without a single goalscorer. Yet we've spent over 40m on strikers..? How'd you work that one out? We're arguably weaker than when we finished last season.. yet we've spent over 40/50m this season? How's that work?

Sunderland at home was the Beesley debacle wasn't it? It's a good job that we didn't have forums in those days. 😂
In fairness he got an amazing ovation the next game which was I think v Spurs at home in the cup. We were all in it together from manager to player to fan. Hate him or love him Jones was important too. He gave the team a nasty edge. How I wish we had someone like that now, not skill wise, but attitude wise. We look so insipid and apathetic, just rolling over and letting the opposition boss us. My money is on Burnley to stay up because they have that nastiness still which will grind out results more than the other three, especially at Turfmoor. Someone said it yesterday, we could do with Besic in this team.

What on earth are you rambling on about? Let me let you into a little secret most Blades don’t agree with you know the ones who have watched us through real shit times!
How has he made us weaker you imbecile we haven’t sold anyone? It’s the same squad as last season you know the squad who got us to top 10 in the premier league! So what’s going wrong? Loss of form of W number of players, the loss of key players and the fans not being in the ground are the 3 main reasons.
You do realise to get a ready made premier league striker is completely out of our range don’t you? You do realise we try and pick up players who we have to hope can make the step up don’t you? You do realise the manager doesn’t have a magic wand to suddenly get these players up to premier league quality don’t you? The likes of McBurnie and Brewster are young lads who will improve, yes we all want someone to come in and bang 30 goals but not sure if you noticed we were in league one 4 years ago so getting players like this is unachievable!
What I find a little funny looking at your posting history you have only been posting since July this year yet been a member a member since 2016 a bit funny that isn’t it?

How has he made us weaker? Are you genuinely asking that or just playing at being thick? WE'VE SPENT OVER 40M ON STRIKERS THAT CANT SCORE. We've bought defenders that are way below the standard we need. Hahahaha! Mate your a genuine fucking embarrassment implying I'm a pig. Been a season ticket holder from being 8, I've been a junior blade and have a brick at the lane. So just because my view differs from your rose tinted view, don't even think about implying I'm a pig you absolute wombat.

Don’t rise to it, he can’t handle anyone who has a different opinion to his.

Being shit in the past doesn't mean you have to enjoy being shit now ffs. We are uncompetitive for large portions of every game we play

We have overspent on players who don't fit 'the system' and we are unwilling to alter the style of play to fit the strengths those players do bring. There is no versatility to our play. There is no tactical flexibility. There is no creativity in selection, strategy or on pitch players.

I said yesterday that the player look like they've "given up". I don't believe that they aren't trying - I do think they've lost faith in their ability to be good at football

It's a very depressing time to be alive in general at the moment. So United picking now to return to the deadmen is not ideal for anyone. So why is criticism not allowed? Why is speculation that Wilder may have run his course not allowed? The on pitch performance at the moment is almost laughably bad - How we all chortled at Norwich's struggles, especially post restart. We are decidedly worse than that at the moment (despite having spent over £100m)

Who are all these players that have made us weaker come on who are they? How can bringing in a players to ADD to a squad make us weaker? We didn’t swap any players other than the keeper so how come our SQUAD can be weaker than last season?
You keep throwing this 40m on strikers, one of those strikers played a part in us coming 10th in the premier league making over 170m in the process so he’s repaid his fee! The other striker has played 3 games ffs, throwing a hissy fit because a young striker we have brought in isn’t on 10 gails already is embarrassing fella!
You realise this manager you want shut of has made this club over 300m don’t you? You know what there is no point discussing this with bellends like you! You have this view that changing the manager is what we should do that says is all!
PS I never called you a pig even pigs think getting rid of the manager is ridiculous!

Lowe for a start, Bogle (not even played, so he can't be up to scratch can he?) Regards hendo being replaced by ramsdale, that's another (admittedly I can't lay any fault on the lad for that) how can bringing in players make us weaker? Well. Look at the table, that'll tell you how you fucking tit. Brewster's played five games bud. You sure you're not a pig? And in those five games he's influenced one, with a single pass. The other four he was utterly anonymous, didn't press, didn't tackle did absolutely fuck all... top value. I'll reiterate the point as you seemingly can't read. "Im not at the point of wanting him gone yet, give it a few more scoreless losses" there's no discussing with folk like you bud. You're opinion is set, and anyone who challenges it is either a pig or a bell end. Honestly mate, your boring. You have literally 0 movement on your view, so why waste time in responding when you start getting emotional that someone doesn't see things you way?

But this ain’t the Sheffield United way. We as a fan base are very much used to last day trauma and as we all know it’s that hope that kills you. But I’ve already stopped watching us TV and now can’t listen to us on radio either. I get my updates through my betting app. This shit so early in the season is really getting me down, so I’m trying to wean myself off the football altogether........for this season anyway.

Fuck me giving up on a player after starting 3 games against 3 of the best teams in the league and coming on as sub in the other 2 this proves my point about “fans” like you.
So having the same players as last season and adding players to the squad equates to making us weaker? I’m not quite sure how that is the case! You could argue the players brought in can’t make the step up to replace the players who may be injured that would be a better analogy! But “making us weaker” is a ridiculous statement.
You still haven’t answered who you think should replace him! Surely a man with all the answers would have an idea about this. So come on mr champ manager who takes over?

Think I'll be with quite a few others. You sit there with your specs on pal. Utter thundercunt.
No it won’t it may be a few other fannys like you but believe you me the fans who go week in week out and have done through the good and the bad won’t want him out. Most of us understand there are factors out of our control that’s contributing to this. Fuck me I hope we do go down it might get rid of the bellends who think we should be comfortable in the premier league 4 years after being in league one!

Steady Tigers, you are all going a bit stupid here. Let's wait until the Fat Lady has left the stage. At the moment she ain't even started to get dressed. Things ain't going right we all know that , we are missing that 12th man (big style) but spouting venom and with no alternative solution does nobody any good.
Of all the managers available or even working can anyone give a name of someone who could turn it around. For me I would be delighted if the Prince announced a new manager and his name was Chris Wilder. Simmer and let's give the Fat Lady a rousing rendition of " The Greasy Chip Butty" when she leaves the stage. The FAT BxxxxxD.

This idea of wilder making us weaker is more crazy the more I think about it! We haven’t sold any players who were playing last season! So we haven’t brought anyone in worse than those players so how can he have made us weaker it doesn’t make sense it’s a lazy statement to try and back up a point!
If you look at the JOC situation it’s unfortunate he is out he is arguably our best player and is suck an integral part of what we do! We can’t replace him, we couldn’t afford a replacement for JOC and anyone who comes in to fight for a place with JOC will not want to sit on the bench.
We had to bring in players who would in time make the step up, that’s not happening. If I have a critism of wilder it would be playing Lowe. He was out of his depth at Chelsea.

You are genuinely fucking clueless. I'd get more sense having a chat with my dog about football than you. Did I say I gave up on him? Nope. Did I say he did nothing to show what he's about? Yep. Do I think he's a waste of money AS IT STANDS? (I'll capitalise things so you don't get confused) yep. In a nutshell yes. You buy players to replace FIRST TEAM PLAYERS. You don't sign back ups to the first team players, "MCB is playing every game" yep. Because wilders other options are sharp, burke, MCG and Brewster. I mean, I did answer it in saying "anyone that comes in now wouldnt save us with the squad we have" what's the point. Fuck it, let's just go down with the lowest points tally, and everytime we lose we'll say the classic "season starts at (enter team here).

Here's one for you, how's wilder sort it out? You know, with the players he's signed that aren't up to it.

How much do you think these ready made premier league strikers cost seriously? Do you think we can just pluck one from thin air for 20m? Seriously. Name me players we either could afford the fee or afford the wages? It shouldn’t be too difficult what players should we have signed?
So you haven’t given up on Brewster but think he’s a waste of money after 3 starts? A young lad who has been in and around the European and English champions is in your opinion waste of money! So go back to my first question who so we bring in who we could virtually guarantee us goals?
I will answer your question even though you haven’t answered mine at the 3/4th time if asking. What does he do to address the situation? He does what he has always done he works hard with the players he gets them absolutely fit as fiddles, he comes up with a solution to the problem down the left hand side. He keeps believing in the same players who only 9 months ago gave every team we came up against a proper game. I believe in this manager because I have watched what he has done for a number of years. What I don’t do is call for is head after one bad run or even one bad season!
Now then I have answered your question now answer mine?

Speaking as someone who has seen every game this year and who saw every home game in 1990-1, the current team is far worse, relative to its peers, than the 1990-1 team was. That team had a goalscorer and an excellent keeper, for starters.

Plus we added, dare I point it out, a creative midfielder in January who was an enormous help in saving us.
We had the fans behind us in 90-91 wasn’t playing in a morgue situation

Depends what market we're shopping in. European markets could be anywhere from 20m up to 35m, seeing as we're playing "who would you sign with x y z" let's say we had the 23m for Brewster, and the 8/10m(?) From Bogle and Lowe, I'd be going all out to get odsonne Eduoard from celtic, maybe 30m(ISH), wages would be competitive. So what. Deal with it, we're in the premier League, pay premier League wages or expect what we've got currently, gone are the days of offering a packet of rothmans and a bag of pork scratchings. We spent 23(ISH) on Brewster. Yep. He is a waste of money when he's been bought in as a first team starter, and is now seen much as a "future player" if you want to check back (twice now) I've answered your question already. Your either really fucking stupid or you're just on the wind up. Use your eyes. I'll say it again (for the third time) NO MANAGER WILL FIX THIS. WILDER HAS BOUGHT BACK UP PLAYERS/PLAYERS HE THOUGHT WERE GOOD ENOUGH BUT ARENT UP TO STANDARD (YET OR WONT EVER BE) I'll repeat it again, just in case you miss that one (which would be the fourth time) NO MANAGER WILL FIX THIS. Wilder (rightly or wrongly) has signed players who are young and can develop into premier League players. We don't have the time or the squad to tread water until they're good enough. Wilder needs to change the record. "We'll keep doing what we're doing" why? It isn't working? Why aren't we changing things? Why are we expecting a different result with the same tactics. It might hurt to say our almighty has cocked up. But it doesn't make anyone who thinks he's massively messed up a pig. For what it's worth I loved wilder pre lockdown. But the performances are shite, we have literally 0 chances of him changing a dead and flailing system either through stubbornness or an unwillingness to experiment with other formations which, granted didn't get us here, but it might just fucking keep us here. (Although that boat has already sailed for me) sorry.. I mean, the season starts at (insert team here) and if it doesn't, change the team name to whoever else we're playing for match day 36.

Massively messed up fuck me he got us into the premier league and kept us in the premier league hells bells absolutely mental! Players from Celtic who are in the champions league I shake my head in disbelief at times! I genuinely cannot comprehend how some people believe the shit they write! You’re right about one thing you can’t change my mind because you aren’t putting up a decent argument to convince anyone! Thankfully I know the majority of United fans don’t want rid let’s hope their voices are louder than the likes of you! Be careful what you wish for has never been a more apt statement.

So you wanted us to pay whatever for players this getting the club into financial trouble if we got relegated? You do realise there are no certainties with any player look at Villa they stayed up by the skin of their teeth and a goal not given. If they had gone down so you realise the shit they would be in? Is this what you would have wanted us to do?
You have absolutely no idea who Wilder wanted scouted or even enquired about. Wanting players is one thing getting them in is a completely different situation. Look at Matty Cash we couldn’t or didn’t want to compete with those silly fees. What we have done is what wilder all along said we would do, buy from a certain market and coach them work on them and hope they make the step up!
like it or not we are little Sheffield United in terms of the premier league, we cannot attract players who think they should be playing in an established premier league teams in the top 10. They are basic facts, I’m sure everyone would have loved to sign a Watkins or a Cavani but we can’t do it.

Woah. Let's rewind a bit. I've just given you costings to how we'd have got him, now I'm putting us in potential financial ruin? Do you not read what folk put? I've literally got Eduoard in with what was spent this season. And before you say "oh, so you wouldn't have gone for cover for joc" at the time of the transfer window wilder didn't know the extent of the injury. So if we're going all out, then I didn't know at the time either. No and I don't claim to know who he wanted or didn't want, but do you not think (and please try and take off the glasses) it was a bit silly spending the majority of our transfer budget on a striker who has played few premier League games, and has a similar scoring record (if averaged out for the full season) to MCB? In fact, don't answer that. I already know the answer. Until you and others drop the "little old Sheffield United" bollocks, we'll forever be a team who's almost thankful that we got in this league. You make us sound like fucking Exeter city.

Also your comment regarding Watkins is utter shite mate. He went to a team that stayed up by the skin of their teeth, we finished 10th like you said. We'd surely have been a more attractive proposition for him. Well. Until we started offering mentos and shandy as wages. Pay peanuts, you get monkeys. Wilder had an ample budget to sign two maybe three quality players (one I mentioned) but he refused to spend above the norm, That's fine in championship, not so much in the premier League. "You want us to potentially risk our club?" Simple answer no. However if we'd have pushed the boat out (we did, but wilder bought shite) and paid premier League wages, I guarantee you we wouldn't be bottom of the league. 170m like you said. 60m to the stadium. We've bought players who are either not good enough, or will be eventually. That's not good enough.
