Ticking the gift aid box should be pushed too. Costs nothing for the person donating. Is this mentioned at all on social media? I have a Twitter account dedicated to blades related stuff, and haven't seen it mentioned.

Yeah it's got nearly 500 followers, been retweeted by various journos and one or two of the youth team as well as St Luke's media team, also had a feature in the Star and the examiner! Is this mentioned at all on social media? I think you’d be hard pressed to find someone that wouldn’t to be honest.
I hate food banks. I hate the fact they’re necessary. I’m not a communist, I don’t believe everyone should have the same but I do think that in a modern western society people shouldn’t be so skint they can’t afford basic food. I still put food in them, because people need to eat now and my good intentions and words won’t make a meal.
You’re not a communist. You’re a socialist. Two very different things even though the right wing media labels them as the same.
Absolutely spot on.Can we keep politics away from this thread please, you can discuss that elsewhere? This is about PPV and donating to a good cause instead of making TV companies richer.
St Luke's has been around for years through the times of both political parties thank you.
Well doneQuick point as the OP - this fundraiser isn't for foodbanks because, as many have quite correctly stated, it's a sad sign when charity is required to feed local kids.
St Luke's Hospice has been providing critical care for patients with terminal illness for years, regardless of which political party is in power, and they need as much support as they can get at the moment, as do many people!
I chose St Luke's because they've helped several family and friends and are currently helping my uncle Jimmy, who many of you might actually know, he's a big old Blade! He was the fella who got chucked out of Wembley for lighting a flare!
It's so lovely to see how many Blades (and fans of other clubs!) have backed this already, St Luke's are blown away with the help, and we're not stopping yet!
Going on BBC Radio Sheffield just after 4pm to discuss the campaign etc, have a listen in if you can!
Cheers Blades!
"Covering their costs" has got to be the most ridiculous excuse since "bigger boys nicked the dog that ate my homework miss"!
