Morgs testimonial, he came on near the end.I have absolutely no memory of that game taking place. Good goal though.
Not tied to a window as a free agent is he?Very shocked he hasn't found a new club, must be some good RB's in championship.......
That goal at home to Northampton will stick with me for a long time. We were banging on the door for so long in that game with no reward. So when Freeman smacked home from close range the roof lifted off the place. He’ll suffer from the genius of cw/ak because they excel in maximising the final product of supposedly limited players e.g. Basham, Duffy, McGoldrick, Fleck, etc.
They’re kept motivated, confident and able to provide a final product on a regular basis, to the extent that they become integral cogs in the machine. Other managers recognise the challenge and take the easy option.
We are a team where the ‘whole is greater than the sum of its parts’ which will work again some when they leave. Freeman, might need to drop to league one as others have. With money tight even more so.
Whatever, good luck and thanks for the amazing memories especially in the 100 season. His face when he scored at Southend will live with me for a while.
He also saved New Year’s Eve v Northampton!
I doubt he is match fit so may not startSwindon v Ipswich Saturday night on Sky to see Kez down the right. Great to see all the good wishes he's getting from current and former SUFC players on twitter.
Suprised he’s dropped to league one tbh defo thought he’d have filled a void in championship I liked him at lane good luck to him
