If you don't buy quality and rely on championship players then you are guaranteed to struggle

We just do not have any quality creative attacking midfielder and no decent strikers.

Up until now I've largely been of the opinion that the bigger problem was lack of creativity or poor final ball but today we made plenty of chances and played some lovely stuff. You have to put the ball in the net. Prince has to invest in a striker now or we're in deep trouble.

How long will we use the “no fans” as an excuse or are we going to finally admit we’re fucking shit and heading towards the Championship?

Lack of fans isn't helping us but not as much as not taking our chances.

Relegation is not nail on the board now bloody hell. We still have, let me count... an entire season to sort this out.

But I agree, we need someone to finish those chances, we could have been 2 or 3 up today and should have been. It's a problem we need to tackle now though before it becomes too late.

You ought to stop getting personal then, because you look an idiot.
The day I care what I look like to someone like you is the day I start making attention seeking posts on a football forum out of some sort of desperation to be taken seriously 😁

I’ll worry if we’re in there after 10 games, which is looking likely, but not a certainty. Undone by some quality goalkeeping and some slack finishing. It was basically a carbon copy of the game a couple of years ago, minus the error. Considering the chopping and changing going on we played well and there’s reason for a bit more than just doom and gloom.

We may, or may not head back to the championship but at this point there are still 35 games to play so its not some sort of inevitability, despite our start.

Also, I take issue with comments like "we're fucking shit". We're not, we're playing in the top level of English football, one of the strongest leagues in the world game, and we are one of the least able to compete financially. The fact we are here at all, and competing very well, tells you that we are far from "fucking shit".

After our years in League One, where we were genuinely very fucking shit at times, I'd hoped our fans would be level headed and recognise that it won't mean the sky has fallen in when we hit a bad patch. Obviously too much to ask.
