We have crap strikers, agree with the rest of the squad (although taken a step back on the keeper)

That's why we are debating on a striker thread, cos ours are shit.

To say they are shit is well over the top to say they are not good is fair , McGoldrick Billy and McBurnie scored plenty in the championship and I think they can score in the premiership but unfortunately at the moment confidence is low and we’re not creating many chances. I feel the lack of fans is killing the team , our game is driven by passion and the fans are a major part one this. Without this passion we need extra quality unfortunately we can’t afford to buy this quality , so ultimately I think we are going to struggle this season.

Oh dear, the early signs of desperation and losing the plot are appearing in some posters who have seemingly forgotten the successes of CW, the team and the club over the last 4 years and now declare everyone and everything "shit".

Sign new players, change the formation, I've even seen a couple of 'CW out!' in places.

All pathetic and utterly embarrassing.

Aka the "bed shitters" "bed wetters" I think they must be on drugs, 2 games in and the world has ended, I makes you wonder how they actually deal with real life , get up, see it's raining and fuck the rest of the day off because they don't fancy it.

Aye. I've got Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder so that sounds like a lot of my mornings...but even I'm not unstable enough to start talking about relegation and "Wilder out" after two games 😂

We absolutely do not have crap strikers. Even if they are, we finished 9th last season!

Saying they're shit is ridiculous. Embarrassing even.

We don't have any shit players, full stop. Whatever happens this season, every single one of them has already shown that they are far from shit in their time with us.

Incredible to think we have fans calling our players shit, this lot are the best United side I've personally ever seen, so at least 25 years.

Whoever it is it would be nice to see some movement - Wilder couldn’t have been more clear in his interview after villa that we need a striker in.

We now have just over 24 hours to get a striker registered for this weekend (probably not going to happen). And we will be nearly 10% of the way through the season, if it continues to drag.

I appreciate we are at the behest of bigger clubs but it would be nice if we occasionally forced the issue

None of our players are shit I agree, but that doesn't mean none of them aren't shit at putting the ball in the net on a regular basis in the Premier League. Uncomfortable as it may be, there is overwhelming evidence that our players are all pretty poor at that particular skill and it's not 'bedwetting' to be concerned about it.

I don't like the way Bruce Wayne is putting it, seems very disrespectful to players like Billy who are a huge part of why we're here.

However, the sentiment is about right. We do have the worst attacking lineup in the division.
If any of our opponents went into the start of the season with Sharp, Burke, McGoldrick & McBurnie as their strikeforce (less than 10 PL goals between them) we would be saying "they're going to have problems."

Agree and accentuated by the lack of scoring threat from midfield (Lundstram aside) and even the CBs from set pieces.

For the last couple of years and particularly at the start of last season people who have admired our style of play and management and people who commentate on football either as blades or just as admirers of what wilder and knill have achieved at bdtbl have pleaded with the fans not to get on the managers back or turn on the players after a few results go against us ......
Well look at the fucking state of you lot you ungrateful wankers

Who's on their back?

I've only seen people saying that they think it's going to be a tough year for us, which is completely understandable given our financial constraints.

It's not really the boards fault either, they can't spend what they don't have.

Give over ,some of the negativity on here about wilders signings that are already here and the way we play has been way over the top given the circumstances

A lot of talk over the last few years about the special bond between the fans and players and around the club but it appears that's only when we are winning

He seems better than old Shieldsy. Not sure he knows anything over & above the average fan though.

Depends, have Arsenal changed their minds on that tempting £3m we offered?
I don't get their stance if he isn't signing a deal.

Within 3 months of the window closing, he signs for OH Leuven on a pre-contract for free and by the first week in July he's a Leicester player for a nominal fee. He's approached by Rangers or Celtic, offered European football for a year before a bigger move in a year or so.

That's a distinct possibility they face.

So why they are looking for an unrealistic fee is a bit beyond me. Unless they are just prepared to wait until the last minute to get a deal from someone desperate or maybe even January for the same reason.

In another thread I thought 33m for a player with no Prem experience was madness. I'm not sure 15m for a player with no experience in men's football is any less. He could be the next big thing. Or he could be the next Solanke, Afobe etc.

Dont you talk about Benik Afobe in such a manner.

He won't go for free arsenal.will get compensation and it will be quite hefty ,that's why they are asking so much now
But not if he goes abroad. He'll go for either nothing or a very nominal training fee of no more than 500k.

That's not the point I was responding to.
