If we are sat on 0 points from 8 games lets see if you are still laughing.

We have to win both home games against Leeds/Fulham otherwise we will be cut adrift end of October
My god I thought I was a pessimist
OK we lose to them 2 and get the points off of City, Liverpool, Arsenal & Chelsea.
We got 8 points of that lot last season
Yes so was I and your point is ?
I wouldn't be. But it's unlikely. If it doeas happen, it doesn't mean we'll be relegated. If we are sat on 0 points from 8 games lets see if you are still laughing.

Yeah and I was a year younger last year
Just because things aren't as obviously rosey right now, doesn't mean that in 2 months, or 4 months, we won't be sitting in mid table again.
We've brought in good players to improve the squad. Some may force themselves into our first choice 11 if the current heroes don't recapture top form.
Berge may well be on a different level this season.
I really really really don't think you need to worry so much.
It doesn't mean that. Because a few wins on the spin always pulls a club away from a relegation struggle. We're more than capable of having a good few months at any point. No but it means we will be in a relegation struggle all season.
We absolutely do not have crap strikers. Even if they are, we finished 9th last season! We have crap strikers, agree with the rest of the squad (although taken a step back on the keeper)
That's why we are debating on a striker thread, cos ours are shit.
We absolutely do not have crap strikers. Even if they are, we finished 9th last season!!!
So? We finished 6th with those strikers. We finished 9th with a top scorer of 6 goals
The defence, keeper and midfield won 9th place not the strikers
So? We finished 6th with those strikers.
In theory McBurnie and DidZy will be better after a year experience (DidZy already bagged in the cup this season). Moose probably a similar season unless stays fit. Burke who knows, fantastic assist for penalty decision the other night. Billy probably 6th or 7th choice, used when appropriate.
Anyway, the whole bloody gameplan is creating high quality chances. Not loads of them. We're not going to have prolific scorers until we've been in the league for years and managed to gradually upgrade/coach the squad.
We are playing a particular style. Very successfully, with a current blip that will likely end when players all fully fit.
Not sure where 6th came from. Except we might have finished there if season wasn't paused.Sorry disagree (and we finished 9th not 6th). Our style has been upgraded by the likes of Chelsea for one, we were successful last season due in main to the back 5. That back 5 is different this season, our tactics won't be as effective so we have to be more productive top of the pitch, surely that makes sense?
McBurnie will get better, why will he? He runs and jumps but just watch him when we are putting balls into the box (also our box when he's back marking). He's like a weeping angel.

How do you know our tactics won't be as effective?!
Players generally improve...
How dare you stay on topic..!Not in Arsenals team or named subs tonight at Leicester.
We made 3 very good chances vs Wolves (fleck post, sharp pass to lundstram and McBurnie cleared off of the line). I wouldn’t say Wolves nullified us. Excluding the first 20 mins or so, we were well in that game.Well Wolves cut out our overloads by mobbing us in the corner knowing that we didn't have another threat when this broke down. Also teams know that Rambo is a change/weakness so they target the additional protection the back 5 are giving him, that alters our mind set from last season.
Players can improve, not sure how Didsy can nor Billy at their ages. McBurnie as I said is too easy to mark when attacking and lose when defending. Moose never fit and when he is sulks, so on Wilder and his team to make him motivated week in week out and keep fit.
Didn't the stats say that McBurnie had won more headers last season than any other Premier League striker?McBurnie will get better, why will he? He runs and jumps but just watch him when we are putting balls into the box (also our box when he's back marking). He's like a weeping angel.

Bruce, what are you doing to yourself? Have a couple of weeks off mate.
To be honest this is starting to sound like wishful thinking on your part. You seem stuck on your most negative setting.Well Wolves cut out our overloads by mobbing us in the corner knowing that we didn't have another threat when this broke down. We’ve played 180 minutes and 164 of those we were using plan B to either get back in the game or hold on as long as possible with 10 men. I think we are over reacting.
