Facts:
- Wilder knows Billy and Mcburnie don’t work excellent together.
- McGoldrick didn’t start because off previous injury. Wasn’t worth risking a starting place.
- Burke not up to speed/tactics/match fitness.
- Mousset is out for a while.
Wilders hand was forced, yet some fans can’t help themselves and twist the knife.
What actually is achieved by starting (another) thread pointing out areas that need strengthening? It’s a serious question btw.
Wilder has stated MANY times we need to improve up the top of the pitch. Him and the the team are working on it, with one of the smallest budgets in the league.
Billy, who I imagine everyone was sucking off when he netted the equaliser on the opening game last season, is a great player to have in the squad. He will chip in with the odd goal and is a great addition to throw on when defenders are tired. What is gained by throwing insults? If Billy left today we would be seriously fucked, think about that for a second.
You just know the same “supporters” that turn on players (faster than milk on a hot day) will be the same wankers that moan when a player want to leave us, starting to think “supporters” are less loyal than some of the players.
Really disappointed in the fan reaction after that game. Maybe a mixture of several things going on in the world but the social media response is just wild.
