Yet John Matthews (IIRC) who was meant to take the penalty gets off more or less scott free. If I was Don I'd feel more than a little injustice at the stick he gets if I'm honest.

He was the only one who had the cojones to take it. Mrs BOSS spoke to his wife next day and Don was so distraught thinking about it that he left the kitchen sink overflowing when he was supposed to be doing the washing up after Sunday lunch. He was sat at the dining table with his head in hands, apparently

True Crab Matthews bottled it big time if he'd have missed folk would forgive, but for some reason Don Givens looks like we're sending him to hell in a handcart. In all truth if Kenworthy had played we'd have stayed up as he'd have taken penalty, but if you read a book called "game of their lives" or near enough TK says he went to get changed & Martin Peters (RIP) said don't bother you're not playing.
